So I wasn't in the painting challenge last year but I was curious to see what my score would've been if I had - and how much I could beat it by this year! I added up the models and it came to 261 stones last year. So this year I'm gonna aim for a total of 361 Here's my list from last year if anyone's interested Yin the Penangalan - 8 3x Guild Autopsy - 12 Nicodem - 15 Mortimer - 9 Vulture - 3 7x Mindless Zombies - 14 Razorspine Rattler - 6 Performer - 5 Drowned - 6 Chiaki - 6 3x Shield Bearer - 18 2x Corpse Candle - 4 Vincent - 8 Reva - 15 The Scorpius - 6 3x Stitched - 18 Anna Lovelace - 9 Carrion Emissary - 10 Asura Roten - 8 Beckoner - 6 2x Mannequin - 8 Teddy - 11 Hinamatsu - 9 Scales of Justice - 3 3x Bone Pile - 18 Graveyard Spirit - 3 Lady Justice - 15 The Judge – 8 = 261 stones

Amazing work. Love the basing, and the purple glow on the claws is a nice touch too

Finished the flames on the death marshals, still not 100% happy with them but they're good enough for the table So 3x death marshals and the rogue necro = 28 stones - master pledge complete! I didn't get to do the nightmare coryphee but that was more of a stretch goal anyway

Yep I agree, the flames are actually a bit darker than in the picture. I think I'm gonna add some glazes to darken them down a bit more then bring up the highlights to a white

The final model of my pledge is built and ready to go. I was dreading putting this one together but it was surprisingly easy to build

Here's where I'm at with the 3 Death Marshals. Almost done, I think I just need to work on the flames a bit more, any suggestions on what I could do to improve them would be greatly appreciated

@lusciousmccabe I always keep some of the previous mix on a wet palette too for blending

@lusciousmccabe Thanks I base coated all the skin with Daemonette Hide. Then washed with Druchi Violet. Then 1st layer Daemonette Hide again. Then from there built up the highlights on each piece by adding various lighter colours to Daemonette Hide. So Lion face and Majority of the body was adding more and more Fenrisian Grey until highlighting with pure Fenrisian Grey (Not sure how many layers, maybe 3 or 4) and finally adding some Palid Wych Flesh for extremme highlights Goat face was adding Baneblade Brown and then Palid Wych Flesh Snake tail was adding Calador Sky (and i think a very small amount of the fang) and then Palid Wych Flesh It's something I've just been experimenting with recently and its great for if you want different colours with the same over all tone
