  1. Can anyone please tell me in which publications I will find Molly's fluff? Thanks
  2. This article is fantastic! Some really comprehensive, useful advice there. It's very clear that you have devoted an awful lot of time to thinking this out and articulating your thoughts. Might I suggest that you review your Tara section, though? I'm not sure that your Tara list adds up correctly. You have proposed a 50ss Tara list, with a Soulstone cache of 7. By my reckoning your list total leaves a Soulstone cache of 9 (too many). Your description of the list seems to indicate that Anna Lovelace is present instead of the Rotten Belle that you have stated. By making these changes, your list will have a cache of 5 Soulstones. Additionally, I think that you should list Guild Autopsies, The Drowned and Punk Zombies (and maybe Death Marshals) as summoning options for the Tara list (for Karina's 'Faces Of Oblivion' upgrade).
  3. I've seen a couple of guides online. Here: https://schemesandstones.wordpress.com/2016/09/29/building-on-a-budget-ten-thunders/ And here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/m/product/201097 Neither give consistent advice, though (obsidian oni, ama no zako & mr tannen; vs obsidian oni, jorogumo & pathfinder). Maybe just start with obsidian oni and go from there?
  4. Thanks. For reference, I found it here: http://archive.4plebs.org/dl/tg/image/1408/05/1408054755170.pdf
  5. Hi all. I was wondering in which publications I could find Tara's background stories? I only have the M2E rulebook and there is relatively little in there. What is the significance of the obsidian chip she is chasing in the M2E rulebook?

  7. There is a really good article in a recent issue of Wyrd Chronicles (#27) with great advice for players who are looking to start with Lynch. It is written by one of the Forum mods. You can download it for free here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/201097/Wyrd-Chronicles--Ezine--Issue-27 The first purchases recommended in this article are: Ten Thunders Brothers, Samurai, Depleted. Then try Lynch's theme (Darkened) models. I've just started using Lynch too. I haven't tried the Depleted yet, but thus far I have gotten good mileage out of 10T Brothers and Samurai. Next on my list of things to try are Mr Graves and Beckoners. I'll get round to testing the Depleted later - I don't own the models just yet.
  8. I was essentially thinking of something along these lines. Maybe JuJu, McTavish and a couple of Wicked (voodoo) Dolls or Gupps (and play without the capacity to summon a Silurid) to fit the theme I have in mind.
  9. There's nothing to prevent me from taking McTavish as a Merc though, is there? I was considering building a list consisting of him and JuJu, with a couple of cheap minions. I see that the options are pretty limited since the Spawn Mother is basically out of bounds in a format which prevents summoning.
  10. Hi all I was thinking of throwing together a small swamp-themed Neverborn crew for some Henchman Hardcore games. Any advice on what I should take?
  11. Hi all. I was wondering what you would consider to be a good 'crew box' for Guild McMourning (to play in introductory games)? If I start with his 'Body Of Evidence' set, then I need to replace the Flesh Construct and Canine Remains (because they cannot be taken in Guild). But with what? I was thinking maybe a Witchling Stalker and an Exorcist? But they total 12 points, rather than 10. Having said that, the models in my new 'box' would still only total 31 stones, and there are plenty of other official crew boxes which weigh at that price point. Anyone have any other suggestions?
  12. I have to comment that I am a little surprised by your choice of Masters. I am a new player myself, so cannot comment in terms of real gameplay experience, but when looking at the Outcast Faction, the advice that I was given by veteran players was that Tara and Misaki were definitely NOT good choices for a beginner. Tara has unusual mechanics, and has to manage a reduced control hand when using the Void creatures that come in her crew box. And I was told that if I was thinking of choosing Misaki, to go down the Ten Thunders route because some of her preferred support pieces are exclusive to Ten Thunders, making her a much weaker Master in the Outcast faction. Again, I don't really have the practical knowledge to have formed an opinion of my own, but in my experience the advice from veteran players has been unanimous: Misaki and/or Tara are not the best Masters to choose when starting Outcasts. In the longer term, will you be looking to write similar articles for some of the Masters that are considered more beginner-friendly (e.g. Viktoria, Von Schill)?
