So to try and sum-up, the most in need of adjusting seem to be

    Keywords: Wizz-Bang, Tri-Chi

Models: Wong, Lightning Bugs, Wrastlers, McTavish, LaCroix Raiders, Burt

    Maybe: Banjonistas

    Downgrades: Rami, Bokor

Does that sound about accurate? Did I miss any? I didn't include every model mentioned but more the ones that seemed to have something of a consensus behind them.

I would say kin generally need a slight tone down. Something like making flinch once per activation.

I don't think they are as, arguably, overpowered as some key words (cough colette, yan lo, dreamer) but I think they are enough ahead of the curve to require a slight balancing.

There's currently a lot of negativity around the kin from a few very vocal members of the UK meta. While I disagree that they are broken, as some have suggested, I do think they are a little too good.

Two extra wounds for a sniper are not worth 2ss. Rami is good as a fragile guy in the backline. If the enemy is good enough to reach him - he deserves his death.

I think Rami is too good for his cost, possibly even too good for 7 but I think if you just bump up his cost he will see a lot less play so there would need to be a degree of adjustment. That was my proposal.

Wizz-bang is the second best keyword in faction. All they need is a proper Master.

Do you find yourself using a lot of the models ook?

I often drop sammy in my kin lists and use bokors now and again but I cant say I've really used the others much at all.

  3. Team Savoies v Team Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Bedjy 5 (shenlong) - Rosskov 5 (ophelia)

    Le_wahou 6 (lady j) - Cleezy 2 (perdita)

    Hemgath 0 (Hoffman) - Scottishmetalew 7 (Pandora)

Three great games. A close round.

  4. I don't think that's correct. I read the extract from the faq as "the strategy marker cannot be affected". In the above example it is the model that is affected by the move but the strategy marker could not be removed.

Not sure if there's something else in the faq that cuts across it.

I got a message with mine the other day, I assumed it was too make sure they got out in time for the sale.

To be fair I just posted my picture so had no idea when the vouchers would be issued. I just didn't know if I should hold off ordering till after the competition closes if that's when the vouchers were coming out and if so if its end up missing one or the other?.

  6. I think we're on an OK spot. In my opinion:

I think the first mate could stand to lose the inbuilt ram on its melee attack.

Regarding Brin, calculate the possibilities should be once per activation (mainly because it's too uninterractive for your opponent) but if give him an inbuilt draw a card trigger on his ranged attack to balance it out.

Smugglers need love...and a bit of direction. At the moment they don't really have a role. I can't see that changing unless they become a niche higher for a subsequent gg. Eg engage you opponent's model without being engaged.

Fingers is over costed. I'd give him the crow inbuilt on his bonus and either don't mind me or drop him a stone in cost.

I find wong's keyword a little Lacking in general.

I think the last gg fixed the issues with being obeyed to mess around with strategy markers pretty eloquently.

Only thing is that there are no obvious schemers in keyword, or am I missing something?

    Merris is a great schemer.

Raph can also do a turn with agile (though he's often better used hunting opposing scheme runners).

La croix are also decent schemers. Their bonus action can push them out of engagement if needed.

  8. Ophelia is my go to though Mah can be useful if you want to play a more defensive game between stealth on the bushwackers, the ability of miners to Bury and the mobility of roosters.

    Mixed results

Very very good with Twelve Cups of Coffee, a bokor for healing and a decent cache. Can stick him in the middle of the board and its very unlikely he is going anywhere! 2" engage and a trigger to focus from his 3/4/6 attack means he can put out some real reliable sustained damage over multiple hits if you want to use the resources.

However, unsupported even with demise and regen, at defence 3 he will drop like a sack of anything

Twelve cups of coffee? For scheme marker removal and to prevent bonus actions?

Is the idea that a friendly model drops markers for him to remove for focus?

My only concern is that it takes a lot of resources to keep him alive to the extent that it underpowers the rest of the crew. I have heard the horror stories of him with butterfly jump in Neverborn though.

The Witchling Handler’s Witchfire action’s italics suggests that you do, because it specifically does:

unlike other actions that just ignore LoS.

Disclaimer:  These are still beta rules.

I don't think you get concealment from terrain if you ignore line of sight as you only get concealment when a LOS is drawn through the terrain.

The wording on the Handler's attack could be to get round auras that give concealment.

I think the ambiguity is enough to warrant an faq.
