  1. When I first began painting I started out with the classic GW pots. Later on i switched to P3 which I stuck with for a few years. I now have Vallejo which are pretty great but, I was wondering what everyone else is using and why? Reaper and Scale 75 are two I've never tried. Any input and/or comparison is more than welcome.
  2. Stitched Togethers - based off of Tim Burton's character Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas. Waldgeist - forest spirt from Norse mythology.
  3. Honestly, her best use is probably with Jack Daw and Lady Ligeia. You are correct however, she does have excellent synergy with The Drowned thanks to Hazardous Terrain. She can be thrown into a crew as an objective-runner thanks to her mobility. Her has the ability to heal and to do significant damage but, with her average defense she is somewhat of a glass-cannon in melee. In other words she takes damage quickly. If you decide to run her with Kirai then needless to say it would be wise to take some Drowned as well.
  4. Well, it's going to take some adjustment since Molly is now a master and no longer a Henchmen i can't just take her with Seamus anymore. However, to me he's a very straight forward master and I still like his versatility/mobility. I do appreciate the fact that the characters are now more balanced thanks to upgrades. I had played Kirai many times when she was first released and I'm excited to see how she works with the new game mechanics. Does she still has a similar synergy with Night Terrors as far as movement? I haven't really been able to read up on her in detail.
  5. I'm a die hard Res player. I picked up the game back in early 2010. Started out playing Seamus and he's still my favorite. Played every master for the Resurrectionists except for Tara and played some Guild as well as some Outcast. Everything I have right now in the way of models is 1st gen. I am familiar with the Warmachine/Hordes Vassel but, I'm not sure if the Malifaux Vassel is similar to that one. Thanks You
  6. Thank you for the clarification, it makes more sense now.
  7. Nice work, man. What paints did you use?
  8. Hi, Generally we put lots of blood, sweat and tears into our minis. So, the very idea of undoing all of that hard work is a nightmare. I know because I'm doing this with a lot of mine. However, here are a couple of products I've used that have worked well for me and can be found at most hardware stores. 1. Goof Off 2 which works like magic on metals and they claim that it's safe on plastics. I HAVE NOT tried this product on plastic models, yet! 2.Simple Green is safe on both metal and plastic and works nicely. Any questions just ask.
  9. Very nice, .50 is a good deal. Why are they now out of print though?
  10. Thanks for the suggestions. Much appreciated!
  11. Hey, So, I began playing Malifaux back in 2010 and ended up leaving home for 5 years unable to play the game. I'm back now but, literally everything has changed. At one point there were 3 local gaming stores (Fat Cat's, TDS and Showcase) within the area and now they're all closed. In addition to that the closest gaming store is an hour away from home. The game itself has evolved quite a bit and I honestly have no idea where to start. Needless to say I’m a little overwhelmed and would greatly appreciate any advice. -Thanks
