On that that same line, playing Ramos with only 3 SS seems pretty rough as well. I know the list isn't solely about summoning, but it's area denial and attrition, which spiders help with (plus the obvious of scheme running.) Do you not find yourself wanting more later in the game?
The app only show the cache, in the crew have 4ss pool, and yes Electric Summoning upgrade is the worst part of the crew, you can down that and up the ss pool to 5, but with 6 strike markers on the table I want to see if the bombs give me more enemy movement control.

The Metal Gamin is bad because need stay 3" of the Golem and the idea is activate all trash and later reactivate the two Golems + push with Angelica + IE, then charge something and smash in the reactivation.
The raptor are here for the same reason that The Philosopher's Stone, if you need cards (in the last game my hand was terrible) I draw 7 + SS for 2 cards (bad cards) + discard the upgrade for 2 cards more + Steamfitter + Raptor hit the Totem to trigger with to look on my library and put the 10 for the Brass Arachnid to reactivate the Golems. -

Hi guys! I'm testing a lot Sandeep last games vs my friend @mojopin for the moment I'm changing the Henchman basically, the list works really good.
What do you think about the changes? you prefer Carlos over Snow? after think a lot I prefer Snow because he can shot with blast and with Gamin is really good.
The Slate Ridge Mauler with Ml7 auto Slow is really good, but Cassandra + Performer combo to copy Siren Call and Paralize with stone is awesome.

For me the biggest Oxfordian problem is his 40mm base, and the fact that you 'must' pick 3 of them, because in 6ss range they doesn't are good enough.
But with all of that, and later of play them a lot in the last games... they are really good

For me Ramos need a important buff.
You compare with Nico, bot now do the same with the Dreamer...
Doesn't need markers to summon
His Nightmares low WP on 3", and our Arachnids need base contact
His walk up to 7" vs 4"
He heals in pulse
His shoot upgrade give him +1Ap for shoot, do dmg for each Nightmare... really let Ramos do dmg for each construct... and we'll see
His defense does't are trigger so cant be negated or need suit.
He can give suit with a totem of 2ss to summon out suit...
And remember that always, Ramos can summon 3 spiders but need 11 AND SS, if you have RJ but no SS you CAN'T summon 3 spiders, but all the other masters can summon his best miniature. AND another miniature to provides him scrap, sometimes it counts a lot.

I will go to speak about my opinion.
Yes, Sandeep is the best Arcanist Master, but for me its't enough reason to nerf it, you see Nelly? Collody? they are really OP too and we need tools for combat that monsters.
And always if you must decide between two option, always is one better than other.
I prefer a little buff on Colette, if bad masters are better, we can see more variety in the meta.

Man... few days ago speaking with @mojopin about Lampad... THIS is what Kaeris need... something to put burning and do thing with that, and is in another faction... Wyrd please!!!
If at least it will be mercenary... like Performers for McMourning

For the Ramos's Striker Markers you can add Lazarus to copy the ability again and have 6 Markers at the same time on the table

In my Alpha lists doesn't have slots to Howl, I always want to start the next turn to attack with Marcus and companion Cerberus so, I need Size of the Day upgrade =P

The problem are the limited upgrades, for me the best is G&D, so we doesn't have access to fly with burning, the best option is use to set burning on our models to draw cards, is a cheap activation and can heal, it's nice.
I speak all time in competitive play, I play Kaeris with friends a lot to test combinations, but, for a tournament doesn't are an option for me.

Poor argument to take the Child for me, I doesn't finish to apreciate Kaeris mechanics...

For me the problem with Kaeris is, that if you change Kaeris in that list for any other Arcanist master this will be a better list.
And an anotation, why people say Malifaux Child is good with Kaeris, I only want use 0Ap and Malifaux Child can't do that, are something that I doesn't see?

This weeks I'm testing other masters (Ironsides, Kaeris...) after few games I can say, Kaeris is the worst Arcanist master, like you say all his habilities are worst than any others maters.
Like you say summon at death are so, so bad.
Pyre markers are bad too! they pop out at the end of the turn, so Sonia and Raspi are a lot of better in that again.
The 'Expurgue' of poison that have Kaeris, and his totem (this bad, bad totem) ends the burning, but isn't the same like Expurgue poison because poison doesn't do all dmg at the end of turn and we need that, but the burning do all dmg and we doesn't need spend Aps to consume, if they at least doesn't finist the burning after resolve the Ap, we could do dmg at the end of the turn too...
And his Ap to do more dmg on burning and the Firestarter hability are Aps!!! Sebastian is a passive, poison can't be reduced by armor, he doesn't need activate before, only stay near the targets and do dmg 2 times in
IMO, she and his crew do all worst than all other comparations.

For me, te real problem is the box, really 3 miniatures? man, it must be a box with 1 miniature or 2 at maximun, none will use 3 xD.
But, out of Toni's crew, for 8ss IMO is a bad model, other models cost less for do similar things (6ss for Cojo or 7ss for the Bear) o 1ss more for do so much more (like Carlos)

In fact my Alpha list have 4 Hounds, for 3ss are so much better than Raptors, i think they must do something because PP nerf was an indiret Raptors big nerf (yes, before it was broken but now are so bad, middle term please).
The other masters must has cheaper options too (out summons).

For me we are one of the worst cheaper activations factions, with PP out the Raptor sux, the new Guard for 3ss is really op in the same cost, the last tournament @Linar used 4 of them, and in pairs with Df6, wd5 and armor it was a real pain for me. Imagine Gamins only cost 3ss...
In the other hand Hound can Interact of go in pairs, now, Raptors are really bad, I think need one rule like Hounds to shine.

To be different... I play Mannequins a lot, the ability Magician's Assistant give me a lot of games, Set Up, Inescapable Trap... and a lot of more, this can be auto win.
If I take Mannequin I usually take a Performer to carry the Mannequin and can do the combo: marker + Seduction in the middle of enemy crew

Ramos only need the Steamfitter scrap, when he summons the 3 arachnids they summons whit only 2wd, if you need you can use magnetism to move and kill one for another scrap, and like other says Electrical Summoning gives you more scrap and maybe the enemy kills someone of your constructs, or an arachnid can move into Strike Marker of you need.
You only want more scrap if you take Combat Mechanic upgrade and want to heal.
And now with Steamfitter, take Mechanical Toolkit and Joss to kill him for two scraps are very bad option, because you loss Joss's Aps and one miniature, I prefer the Steamfitter option.
