Surviving and redeploying does nothingon its own. It allows you to do the things you want to do better. And thats dealing 1/2 damage and summoning? Lets be honest. Levis summon is either crap (from ashes) or on kill... which he's not that good at anyore. I'd go so far and say that tara has better damage output than levi nowadays. And 1/2 damage sounds more fancy than it is. It can be good...if your hitting a model with 7 wounds left. And ur able to get a straight damage flip and cheat in medium damage and have spent a stone for the trigger... then it might be better than Von Schill shooting you once with weak damage. And yes, he was kinda busted pre-errata. No doubt. I'm not asking to revert him. but im asking to give him a role back he could fullfill... besides being large hiring pool.

Give Levi an Upgrade adding a blast to his damage track. Or Up his damage track or remove the projectile from his attack. Give him Furious casting or add Suits to his unmaking. Just sth. There are more than enough ways to give him a small boost without reverting him to old levi. Its just that actual levi doesnt do lots of stuff.

Compare A&D to Archie and Nekima and its not that OP anymore. A&D has weaker damage but it has 1 general ap instead of attack expert and a rezz instead of a heal. but the rezz itself restricts it to be near the table-edges. It also cant SS, has only 1 Upgrade slot and no access to henchmen Upgrades.

Yeah, would be nice... but kinda costly. it would as well eat upgrade slots and only benefit the really big models. Keyword restriction is one of the bigger weaknesses a master can have in malifaux tbh Thats one reason why hamelin, viks and tara are so good in outcast. They have strong mechanics that dont give fcks bout the keywords the crew their "supporting" has. This way they get a much bigger effective hiring pool. And yes, levi got an even bigger hiring pool be he has to pay for it wirh his shitty mechanics of being a low damage beater master that is forced to hire models above a certain SS-range.

Hiring Killjoy in ressers costs one SS more

Outcast Tara has cheaper ways to get killjoy, can equip him with oathkeeper and can give scout the field to NB (Nb can charge without line of sight and ignoring terrain). Outcast tara can as well go for merc-spam with "i pay better" or do abomination spam (many activation and card-draws turn one) for better alphas. Or do the reactivating beast bomb through emmisarry or Rusty. Outcast Tara has more and better options sending Models Out for Alphastrikes. Resser Tara has Nurses and Belles to pull stuff into a fast ball of death. Resser Tara has overall more ways to abuse her WP-duels to use her WP-Debuff. You can play her at Ressers as an Alpha-Strike Master as well but outcasts can do better Alpha-Striking. Ressers can turtle up and pull single models into a ball of death.

Btw. Think about it. If VS got a built in Mask in his clockwork seeker. & Were able to treat Black jokers as red jokers. This could be a significant boost and allow him to reliably do his hit-place-shoot-push-combo.

Tbh. I think Bishop is fine. He got his place in tara crews. He would be worth more than 10 with a better walk. Maybe a 1SS upgrade upping his walk by 1 and his Melee-Range by 1. This should be a viable buff for a stone and an upgradeslot.

Yeah, if he could just declare a suit like bishop and had +1 walk he would be more viable besides his turn 1 scout the field one-shot you have to make worth the 9SS you paid for it >.<

Fears given form seemed to me balanced bevause it forced your opponent to deploy differently if he didnt wish to screw his activation order. Its thousand faces that lets you switch into Fears given form once your in position that i think boosted it a bit over the top.

Id give Desperate mercs reckless but take the disguised and soulstone refund ability. Or remove their soulstone refund ability and lower their cost to 3SS. Up Amas MI to 6 and give her some built in suits. Give Guilty a form of healing. Regenerate or maybe sth weird like getting damage from your own crew heals instead of damage. "Because their guilty and enjoy the punishment they feel they deserve :P" or sweet taste of failure. Add an upgrade for specialist to add +1 walk and rapid fire. Taelor let her ignore models and terrain when charging. And change her welcome to malifaux to an allways active ability or the condition to at least "Until this models next activation". If its too powerfull, let her ditch a card to charge.Iam allways hearing how good taelor is and fielded her a few times against summoners. But either you activate her 2 early and her charge lane gets blocked by one little mindless zombie or rat or your activate her 2 late and the summoning allready happened. And for a 10SS beater she just doesnt have enough Attacks to compete with our other beaters in my opinion. This would increase her strenght in her anti summon niche. Oh and i'd lower Prides cost to 7 maybe and give him one more ability to survive. Regeneration 1, let him keep his manipulative, discard card to reduce damage by 1 or heal 1 when opponent cheats. He feels kinda same like monty did back then.
