Wow I actually heard my wallet scream when I saw that set

This seems like a really interesting topic so I think that I will join in WHFB: I play an aggressive Dwarf Strollaz List, all infantry and all with Great Weapons, everything vanguards forwards in the first turn so the opponent has a large array of GW wielding (Stubborn) Dwarfs in his face turn 2, it often throws people off guard as they expect me to play the Gunline archetype. WH40k: I play Crimson Fists, specifically the 2nd Company of Crimson Fists using the Sentinels of Terra rules, typically the army includes multiple drop pods supported by combat squadded devestators (I don't play any of the Centurions or the New Stalkers/Hunters) as I prefer the pre 6th edition units/squads and usually ignore the new toys (except the Sergeant Garandon a Squad Leader and tactical Squad as a warlord is ace!) MTG: I played a Red Deck that focused on burning lands and bringing out Goblins PC Games: I don't really play other then Football Management games where I run Portsmouth FC (lifetime supporter and cannot bring myself to manage any other team) PS3: I love the Fallout Series, Fallout New Vegas is by far my favourite for the fact that I can modify guns and create ammunition, personally I prefer the Cowboy Repeating Rifle and when that runs out of ammo or when things get too close the Super Sledge and or Grenades to take out enemies. Gameboy: I still Play the original Pokémon games on the Gameboy, Pokémon Yellow is by far my favourite as it is most closely related to the first couple of Pokémon series that I actually bothered watching.

I feel that Pandora should come onto Kate Bush's "This Womens Work" to start the Misery before a model hits the table

@Vidd, at the moment I think that she is looking at just starting with Brewmaster but I wanted the Som'er box for Lenny so I can Obey him easily with Zoraida as well as his healing Aura @Dirial, I have a Nurse that I obtained from Miasma on here (nice little swap for one of my Necromunda figures that he's been after for years that was a duplicate) and I also have a pack of Waldgeists for my Pandora crew so sorted in that regards. Will definitely look into Merris as well

Greeting all I have recently been assembling a smallish collection of Neverborn while my Fiancée looks on disapprovingly, however when looking at the options for Zoraida as a Gremlin master I stumbled upon the images for the Brewmaster crew (specifically the Moon Shinobi) and she has fallen in love with the appearance of the Ninja Gremlins. Having a quick trawl through this sub forum and Pull My Finger it looks as though I am going to be splashing out on a fair few boxes in the coming days and weeks Brewmaster Box Som'er Box Ophelia Box Gracie Burt Slop Haulers Have I missed anything off the list? Apart from the Whiskey Golem as she does not like the looks of that model!

For cheap terrain I normally trawl EBay for Citadel Terrain (Warhammer) for cheap as the sets can be split up to make multiple terrain pieces for example I won an auction for the Arcane Ruins and two citadel wood sets for under £10 including postage

Again another great Battle Report, I am especially liking the Pro and Epilogue narrative that you add to the reports makes a nice individual read and builds some rapport with the characters in the crew

Played a game last night (lost due to first real game without constant rules checks and didn't pay attention to the Strategy) where I used Candy with the Best Behaviour upgrade for Bodyguard. I managed to drag most of my opponents models into one section of the board and used "Run away home" towards the end of the 3rd turn so I could redeploy away from his threats and gain 8" space between her and the deployment zone to score a few points in turns 4, 5 and 6 and kept her above half wounds. It also helped that I had his models bunched up for Teddy and Kade to engage and Pandora and her Woe to start plinking wounds off with Misery Aura's.

Where is that crew board from? Looks really good as a coherent display piece

very nice write ups so far, I'll be following with interest. My Pandora crew should be assembled tonight (plans willing) and I hope to get a game in with them tomorrow although I doubt I'd be able to provide much to this discussion

I would like to paint my Pandora Crew in Grayscale with a single bright spot colour but am struggling to find a tutorial to transfer this idea onto a model Cheers Matt

I guess I'll jump straight into 50SS games then, I know I should pick a crew for each Strategy/Scheme but since I'll be learning a crew rather then the game I guess I should try and fit as many different models into the list as possible (I more or less know how Lilith and Nephilim work so will leave them out until I start focusing on achieving Schemes/ Strategies). So to learn the Crew I will attempt to stick with the below "Core" and develop from there Pandora - 6/7SS Cache +Fugue State +Voices Poltergeist - 5ss Sorrow - 5ss Sorrow - 5ss To which I can add Baby Kade, Candy, Teddy, Doppleganger and Waldgeists with the remaining 28/29SS (I will start off with 6-7 Stones for the first few games)

Ok cheers for that so as a starting point would 30-35 point games be more suitable or should i just plug for the full 50ss?

Ok quick question, If I am playing an out of the box game with Pandora how well does this balance against other crews? As without any upgrades this box seems to have 36SS worth of models Poltergeist - 5ss Baby Kade - 7ss Candy - 9ss Sorrow - 5ss Sorrow - 5ss Sorrow - 5ss Compared to Lilith boxset (my other purchase which only has 25SS worth without upgrades) Cherub - 3ss Barbaros - 10ss Terror Tot - 4ss Terror Tot - 4ss Terror Tot - 4ss Is this normal and will this give me an initial advantage in box versus box games?

See I was thinking Sweet Child(s) of Misery as a slow grow progression league PLog title. Just have to wait for the mini's and decide on a basing scheme.

Ok quick update, I ordered Teddy (who can resist that model, seriously amazing sculpt), Waldgeists and a Doppleganger from an online store and noticed that they had a Pandora box with no shrink wrap at -35% RRP so my second master is going to be Pandora.

I go to say that I am leaning towards Lucius from what you guys are saying, well mainly ZFiend as getting a different perspective on the game is never a bad thing

@Dirial, I like the mechanics of Lynch & Co its just the aesthetics that I do not like, I could of course convert the crew into something that I could use but at the moment have no idea what that actually is. It seems a lot of work for little gain at this point in time that is. @ZFiend, what is it about Lucius that you find fun? Obviously he looks sound in Objective type games and scenarios and with the right crew he looks to have a decent melee threat in the way he can control Minions and Miimics @Adran, thank you very much or your comments, I am actually looking for someone who does not play like Lilith so could have a Kill Crew and a Control Crew so to speak

Lucius/Nekima Grow List? Now you have my attention. Tell me more I can see the Terror Tots and Young Nephilim working well with him since they're Minions, however I run into the same issue. I want a Black Blood Shaman but not available in plastic, not too keen on Proxies as I love Wyrd and want to support them with my money by buying their models.

Hello there, Currently I own Lilith, Nephilim pack (2 Young, Mature) and Nekima, I would also like to start off a second master but I am not really sure in which direction I am wanting to go. I only want the Plastic Figures which at the moment puts a couple of Masters off as some of the models are metal only (and I have enough Lead on my Shelves thanks to GW) and I also want a Master that plays differently to Lilith but can make use of the Models that I have already. So really I assume that I am looking for either a Summoner or a Support Master so as far as I can see it my choices are Dreamer Lucius Zoraida Dreamer Pros Summoning or Support Boxset looks amazing Dreamer Cons Until the Twins are available in Plastic not much cross model selection Lucius Pros Ranged Models Lawyers Lucius Cons Opens up Guild and this will make my Wallet Cry Illuminated Look Amazing with Lucius BUT I hate the look of the Dark Debts Models (except Graves and Tannen) Zoraida Pros Swampfiends have synergy with Lilith Obey on Nephilim in Zoraida Crew Zoraida Cons I'll want Collodi and Dolls (Plastic Only)

Well now, Lilith has arrived but its not looking like I'll get much painting time while I'm building my game board so may just borrow one of your crews for a few games, do you have anyone who plays like Lucius? I have been looking at him Lately as a second Master and he looks really interesting, although that then opens up the fact I'll be collecting Guild and Neverborn (not a bad thing although I might as well change my paycheck to be made payable to Wyrd)
