  5. I am inclined to agree. Whilst some combos and tricks are turbo powerful they aren't always reliable, particularly when you still have to flip the right card in the first place. I remember playing a game of WHFB, my wood elves against my bezzie oppo's Orcs and Goblins. I took a terror causing mask on a mounted hero and at the start of turn 2 made over half his army run off the battlefield in panic. (from an elf with a face mask!) There was next to no way to counteract it either. Just roll the dice and hope. Cheesy and not fun.
  6. I have always loved the greenskins but never managed to paint a whole 40K or WHFB army as each model has so much character that i wanted to do them justice (skill level, time and motivation always worked against me!) The Gremlins give me that warm fuzzy feeling of nostalgia:-) Plus, there is no wrong way to paint green flesh!
  7. I couldn't resist taking a break from painting my Arcanists. He is very much work in progress but a pleasure to paint. I love the Jackalope. It isn't quite finished but I thought I would post a picture of him anyway.

Beautifully painted model. I also love the Rotten Belle.
  10. PVA glue and sand is always a good place to start with bases. Paint the glue on (watered down a little bit) then dip the base in a pot of sand. Wait for it to dry then shake off the excess. After that, paint it with several thin layers of whatever colour you want and drybrush to highlight. Check out youtube for loads of tutorials and ideas. Also, great paint job. Nice and clean.
  11. Cheers. I tried all your earlier suggestions but iOS just won't let you have access to the full editor. Problem now solved Next job is to finish my Marcus crew.
  12. New computer obtained, goodbye pasted links, hello inserted media.
  13. I think the flames look rad. They have a much more ethereal flame effect. Very cool. I also like the tamiya red gore.
