I think I've seen some similar mini somewhere else.

no conversion, its the Undead Samurai by Dark Hammer miniatures. Its a resin piece too. Very detailed. I was thinking of adding it to a Yan Lo crew with ashigaru, but don't even know if it would play well together.

I have been struggling with highlights and how to not make them stand out so much they look like brush strokes instead of highlights.  This piece was base coast, shade, retouch base coat, some highlights. But I know I can take it farther, just having a problem working that into my technique.  Any advice you can give?

very nice landscaping you have going on. I like the wood weathered look and those statues look like they are real copper aged to the blue hue. 

Horse flesh looks good - that goofy back banner thingy needs freehand!

hey, that's a similar idea that I had only I was thinking some stone steps going up to a temple and having the seishin on the steps just like that.

I love it. I have found that monotone color schemes are hard for me. Apparently not for you though!  Did you get in on the Kingdom Death kickstarter? It should be coming any week now, last I checked, he said summer time. I can't wait

one of the things that stands out the most to me is the paintjob on the lab coat. White is hard anyway and you pulled it off very well. I don't have these models yet but they look really fun to paint.

I love this terrain and the lighting effect is nice too.  Great idea with the shadows and implemented very well.
