My Teddy Totoro

Woo! Made in Japan! Such a fun theme to play with. I had so many ideas, but I eventually settled on using a classic Japanese children's movie as my reference. This is my take on My Neighbor Totoro using Wyrd minis

I wanted to continue practicing my freehand for this entry, so the backdrop, nameplate, bus stop sign, and Teddy's arm embroidery are all freehand. I had a lot of fun with Teddy's arm, as I got to introduce another tie in to the movie in the form of the soot sprites.

I hope you guys like it. And here's hoping I reach the finals. Now I'm gonna go watch that movie again!
