I am running a casual league all summer long (May 29th - July 31st) at Geek Out Games in Central, South Carolina. It's $5 to join, unless you aready have one of my custom wanted posters from a previous league, which makes it FREE!!! I'm going to be hosting the first ever Malifaux tournament for Geek Out Games, in Central, South Carolina, on May 1st! It's a 50 ss, fixed faction tournament with VERY relaxed timing (150 min rounds, 3 rounds). It starts at 1pm, and first cards flip at 1:30. See you there!

Alright Wyrdos! I have finally hammered out the details for the upcoming Malifaux League coming up on Feb. 18th thru Apr. 17th! Here goes: The league will last for eight weeks, with official League Days on Wednesdays* and Sundays* (*this may change). You can play league games at Geek Out whenever you like, but I will only be there on these days. I will announce the schemes and strategies that everyone will be using each week. We are starting out at 35ss and adding 5ss to our crew building pools every other week. Here's the breakdown: Weeks 1 & 2 35 ss, Crew Box Contents required Weeks 3 & 4 40 ss, Crew Box Contents required Weeks 5 & 6 45 ss, anything goes Weeks 7 & 8 50 ss, anything goes ** Scoring ** Everyone will have a wanted poster with their picture and Malifaux name on it. We'll use these to keep everyone's score, which is presented in the form of a bounty! You gain bounty by playing games and earning victory points in them, and by buying and painting Malifaux miniatures. There are a few other ways to get a higher bounty as well. The person with the highest bounty at the end of the league is the winner! Here's the breakdown that I'll post at the shop: - Play a league game* - $1000 - Get Victory Points in a League Game* - $200 each** - Play with a fully painted crew* - $1000 - Play someone you haven't played yet in the League - $500 - Buy a Malifaux product from Geek Out Games - $1000 - Paint a Malifaux miniature - $500 - Build a Malifaux Themed terrain piece (once only) - $2000 - Buy your Organizer a drink - $100 *You can score only one league game per week, but may score the best game that you play that week! You have to keep your own records though. ** If you score more Victory Points in a game vs a player with a higher Bounty than yours, your Victory Points are worth DOUBLE! There will be drawings for random prizes, and for first, second and third place. The entry fee is $10 (or $5 if you already have a wanted poster). I'm going to be hosting a Malifaux Demo Day at Geek Out Games in Central, South Carolina on Sept. 17th starting at 3pm. Come on in and find out what this Malifaux thing is all about!

I'm holding a tournament at Geek Out Games, in Central, South Carolina! This is going to Geek Out's first Malifaux Tournament! First pairings are going to be announced just before 2:00pm, so we'll want everyone there by 1:30pm. It will run for 3 rounds, with each round lasting for an hour and a half (90 minutes). Here are the Rules: Entry Fee is $5 (It all goes for prize support) You Declare one faction at the beginning of the tournament. Crew size = 35ss Standard Deployment Round 1 - Turf War Schemes: A Line in the Sand, Cursed Object, Power Ritual, Assassinate, Bodyguard Round 2 - Reckoning Schemes: A Line in the Sand, Breakthrough, Protect Territory, Plant Evidence, Entourage Round 3 - Squatter's Rights Schemes: A Line in the Sand, Distract, Bodyguard, Plant Explosives, Murder Protege There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

There is one on Ebay right now that I have up ( I decided not to paint it) It goes down in less than a day.

This league is all about how big you can get your bounties! Everyone will start the league with a clean slate (and an awesome looking custom wanted poster!) The more games you play, models you buy and paint, and games you win will send your bounty soaring. Not only that, but if you beat someone that has a higher bounty, you get to add some of their bounty to your own, making you Malifaux's Most Wanted! Here's how it works: Play a game $1000 Play with a fully painted crew $1000 Win a game $1000 *** Tie a game $500 Buy a Malifaux Crew from the store $5000 Buy a Malifaux model (or models) $2000 Paint a Malifaux model $1000 *** Win a game vs. someone with a higher Bounty and add HALF their bounty to your own instead!!! The entry fee is $10, and most of that is going to prize support. PLUS, there will be random drawings for a prize or two for all of those who participate! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and best painted miniature! When you pay for the League, you'll get your picture taken for your custom, laminated Wanted Poster that you get to keep!!!

At the end of the Malifaux League at Geek Out Games in Central SC, we are going to have a painting contest for all of your new shineys! It will be held starting at about 5pm on Thursday, Sept. 3rd. People in the League are automatically entered, but if you arent' in the league, you can still join for $5. The winner gets a gift certificate for the store!

I've got one that I'm painting and going to be putting up on Ebay soon. I should have it up by the end of the weekend. Check for stuff from StudioSFS and you should see it.

The first painting day went so well, that we are going to do it all over again! It'll be on Sept. 11th at Geek Out Games in Central, South Carolina, starting at 3pm and lasting till we get tired or they kick us out. Bring paint and supplies if you have them! This is a day to bring in your woefully under-painted miniatures and get those suckers done! We'll also have a few veteran painters around so that you can pick our brains for techniques and ideas! Bring paint and supplies if you have them. Its going to be held on Friday, August 7th from 3pm - 10pm at Geek Out Games in Central, South Carolina!

I'm hosting a terrain and marker making day at Geek Out Games in Central SC on Sunday, July 19th at 3pm! Bring plenty of your extra bits, bobs, and scenery pieces with you and we will pool our resources to make scatter terrain and scheme (and other) markers! It will also be a good time to exchange bits and extra stuff that you've got lying around. I'd suggest having a few extra bases with you for making markers. I'll be bringing a few bases for making smaller pieces of scatter terrain. Bring your hobby supplies as well (x-acto knife, super glue, etc...)

I'm going to be doing another Demo day at Geek Out Games in Central SC on Sunday, July 12th. I'll be at the shop around 2pm and I'll stay till at least six. I have one demo lined up when I first get there, with a possible second after that! I'll more than likely have time for one or two afterwards, so come on out!

Thursday is our weekly hobby and gaming day at Geek Out Games in Central, South Carolina! This week we will be doing more papercraft buildings to use as terrain, and I'll be bringing a Laminator to get all your crew cards laminated for free (you'll have to bring some 4X6 thermal laminating pouches. $3 at Wal-Mart)! The Hobby day starts at 3pm, and lasts until around 5 or 6. After that, we'll have open Malifaux gaming! Come on down!
