  1. Von Schill is (IIRC) a mix of wave 1 and 2 in the crew box. All the crews come with the cards containing the rules for the models in the box but for the game rules you would either need the small rule book (Rules manual) or the wave 1 book as linked by Phinn above. The main benefit for the bigger books, Crossroads included, is that it contains all the stats for the models in that wave as well as background but to play the game you only need the rules manual.
  2. Just checked and there was no USPS to the UK for me Edit: The USPS option was there on a crew box but not a single figure
  3. Hello I'm pretty new to Malifaux so I'll leave the gaming details to others. 1. You only need to rule book to play as each box comes with the rules for the models on cards. 2. I'd suggest checking out the terrain forum that has a thread of useful resources - http://wyrd-games.net/community/topic/104611-terrain-resource-list/ 3. Pass 4. For assembling models Dgraz has put together a really useful overview http://wyrd-games.net/community/topic/104001-a-beginners-guide-to-plastic-modeling/ For painting, I use either Citadel or Vallejo paints but it might be best to see what is available in your local hobby store. As a starting point for brushes you'll want something pretty small (size 1 ish) and I would recommend spending a little more to get a brush that won't fall apart straight away but again the hobby store will be able to offer suggestions. After that you will want something to mix paint on, I found an old, cracked plate that was destined for the bin that served me well for years as a mixing palette. I'd also suggest looking into a way to store everything out of the way, unless your wife is happy with a table cluttered with paint pots and modelling equipment. When I started out I found a cheap tool box was an easy way to store everything I needed. I now have a desk set up out of the way so I paint there. 5. The fate decks make things a lot easier so although not essential are recommended. On top of that you'll want a tape measure, a way to track things like soul stones and various markers and you should be good to go. Hope this helps and happy gaming
  4. Thank folks. Trying to avoid any more factions but as the two Guild masters I'm missing are McMourning and McCabe I see a slippery slope beckoning. Plus the upcoming Arcanist releases look shiny and I hear Ramos is a good box to help Hoffman and...
  5. Hello everyone, After a year or so of lurking I thought I'd better step out of the shadows and say Hi. I'm based in Milton Keynes, UK, and I've been tabletop gaming for about 20 years, pretty much just GW stuff until discovering Malifaux and wanting something a bit different. I've managed to get a demo game in so far but other than that I've just been collecting crews and trying to get them painted. My plan was to start with Guild and get some Outcasts for my girlfriend to get her to play. I'm not sure how I've ended up with 5 Guild Masters, 3 Outcast and 4 Neverborn.... Just need to work out which one to focus on first and get some games in
  6. Can I get one of the Malifaux 10 mats please?
