Well everyone else is getting shiny new toys, and the one we hoped for is less shiny than we wanted Mebbe the sculpt will be more inspiring, and all this chatter will be for naught.

If weight of opinion can change the look of the model then I'll pitch in with my 2p. Ergh, boring image of Colette is uninspiring, and doesn't befit the larger than life vision I envisage of her. Cunning master of misdirection, or Steampunk wannabe? If the model looks like the art, then I'll be sticking with my metal one (or trying to get hold of the old Avatar model and using one of them).

So it's just purchased from the list of upgrades midgame using Chi (like an in game shop). That's cool, can see how this makes him a more interesting master.

Ok so I played a 2E demo game last night using Yan Lo (the basic box set with Ashigaru, Soul Porter and Chiaki). It was great for grasping the basic of the game, but Yan Lo's Ascendance ability confused me somewhat. I'm confused about how this works. Do I just pay out of my accumulated Chi tokens for the cost of an ascendant upgrade (I presume the restriction is I can only pick upgrades with Ascendant on them) and then apply it to Yan Lo, or does it have to be bought for another model and then transferred, or some other explanation? Please help this poor misguided soul!
