  1. When we have done 2v1, we have given the 1 two masters (since the two have two masters). Additionally, the 2 share a single deck of cards, hand, and SS pool. On their turn, they decide together what is going to activate with the owning player handling the chosen models turn.
  2. Dawn Serpent will be on a 40 MM base. That is what is written in the rule book and on its stat card in the arsenal box. The Dawn Serpent releasing this month was from a rumored release schedule that popped up on the web. It turned out to not be 100% accurate.
  3. Welcome. If you actually want to use the Bells, I would go with Nicodem as Crid can't use them. Whatever you decide, I hope you have fun with it.
  4. Actually the Shikome are part of actual Japanese mythology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shikome Toshiro is another option and gives you a secondary summoner. Yin (based on the Malaysian vampire) is another option you have: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennangalan. There are also Ashigaru. Lost Love was the govenors son, so it makes sense that he would not have the Asian aethetics.
  5. I have run Shenelong a couple of times, and with success at that. Althought I ran my list minimalistically to sqeeze out a few more models. What I ran was: Shenlong -Low River Style Sensei Yu -Promising Desciple The Lone Swordsman -Recalled Training 2x Monks of the High River 2x Anatsu Sha 1x Peasant On the first turn, I used that bonus 0 of Shenlongs to switch to High River and pass on Low River to Yu. On the second turn, I used that bonus 0 to trigger Witness a Miracle to get out the 2nd peasant. The two above saved me 4 SS in list contruction. Also the Anatsu Sha love Shenlong. After my couple games with him, some of the players at my store have dubbed the combination of: The Lone Swordsman + Recalled Training + (0) Action Focus from Shenlong + You Shall Not See Another Sunrise, the Nuclear Option.
  6. Just reminding everyone that the tournament is next weekend. Also we are going to have a Malifaux Meetup on the 29th. This will be a get together for friendly games and demos, so come on out.
  7. On March 29th, we will be having a Malifaux get together. Come in play some games or learn how to play is you are interested. Time: Whenever you feel like showing up, until the store decides they don't want us anymore. Also remember our tournament on the 15th. 3159 W. Vine St. (US Hwy. 192) Kissimmee, FL 34741 407-870-5322 Saturday Store Hours: 10AM - 9PM
  8. I ran a Lynch list with Izamu and Mr. Graves. My opponent did not care too much for that.
  9. I have only played two games with them thusfar, but what I did was give Shenlong, Low River and give Yu, Promising Deciple (4 SS altogehter). On the first turn after the init flip, I use Shenlongs bonus 0 to switch to High River and pass Low River to Yu.
  10. The Ten Thunders crews that are already out are not going to change. If you want to play Lucas, grab the box. Get one each of the Ten Thunders and Guild Arsenal boxes. This will give you updated stat cards for all models released in M2E Wave 1 for those factions as well as all their generic upgrades. Lucas (and the rest of the Relic Hunters crew) were part of Wave 2 and their new cards are not physically in print yet. However the rules can be downloaded here: http://wyrd-games.net/community/files/file/54-malifaux-wave-2-cards-high-rez/ You can follow these printing instructions to print those cards out nicely: 1. Under the "Page Handling" section, there is a "Page Scaling" bar. Select "Multiple pages per sheet". 2. There will be another drop bar in the same section titled "Pages per sheet". Select "Custom" and "2" by "4". 3. You may or may not need to select "Auto-Rotate Pages". On some printers this will give you a bad orientation one way or the other. 4. To print front-back, under the section "Print Range", select "Pages". Type the number of the first page, then a comma, then the number of the second, and so on. Print. 5. If you put the paper back in, print side up with bottom of the page towards you then make sure steps 1-3 are still in effect. On step 4 replace the card front pages with their card back pages BUT switch each pair of pages. For example: Front Side Pages: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 Back Side Pages: 4, 2, 8, 6, 12, 10, 16, 14 This should give you 8 Front and Back Cards on 1 sheet of material.
  11. If you don't have them yet, pick up both a Ten Thunders and Archanist Arsenal deck. This is mostly for the generic upgrades that do not come with the boxes you have (as well as the rules for all Wave 1 models in those factions, letting you test some more models before purchase). Also Feng can be run as either faction. Unfortunately, The Rail Crew is the only Ten Thunders box I have not touched, and I have never touched an Archanist crew at all so that is really the limit of the help I can provide as I do not even know which other 10T models would support her (though I think Toshiro might be an AMAZING choice for her given the number of minions she likes to have around anyways).
  12. You are correct. No more SS healing, its best to prevent damage to your SS sing models in the first place.
  13. I don't think 12 wounds, 8 DF / WP, Impossible to Wound, and Incorporeal are by any means fragile. I do agree that Izamu, Toshiro, and the Soul Porter are awesome though.
  14. As much as I rarely like the genre, it could work as a first or third person shooter, most likely from the point of view of the guild. They could even have you switch characters and/or factions as the story progresses much like the recent Transformers Cybertron games (two of the few shooters I like). Just as a very basic, and not at all thought out example: start with a Guild operative for example trying to get something from a group of Archanists. Switch to a member of the Outcasts who has been employed to retrieve the same item, he must now attempt to intercept the Guild operative before he can return to Guild controlled territory.
  15. Coliseum of Comics will hosting a Malifaux Tournament on March 15th. This will be a 35 SS event geared towards beginners, but vets are welcome too. This is the second of our monthly Malifaux tournaments. We will be bumping the points up to 50 in future months, but this month we are keeping it low (most of our regulars are still new to the game). March 15th, 2014 35 SS. Fixed Master / Fixed Faction. $5 Entrance Fee. 3 Rounds. 11 AM start time. There will be prize support, but the amount will depend on the number of players. Coliseum of Comics 3159 W. Vine St. (US Hwy. 192) Kissimmee, FL 34741 407-870-5322 Hope to see you there.
  16. Just looking for a plastic Student of Conflict (don't like the metal) to go with my Misaki crew. I have 40K, Fantasy, and Warmachine models, or if preferred some cash.
  17. I prefer 2x4 myself. Here are the settings to make the document print 8 cards without any editing on your part. 1. But again, I recommend doing a dummy page first to make sure.
  18. You mean this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfvR4hl-Gzw
  19. Incorporeal does not let you charged while engaged. But you can use it to move through models you are engaged with (or any other models for that matter). The main rules say that you cannot charge while engaged. Nowhere in the rules for Incorporeal does it say you do not count as being engaged, only that you ignore other models when taking move actions, meaning that you can move through them and NOTHING else.
  20. I forgot the Vik set comes with Taelor, and just how expensive she is. Should be fine for the most part then, though Izamu will cry if the Ronin get a hold of him (they ignore armor).
  21. As someone who did not really care for first edition, I really like 2E. It is much more balanced and streamlined. As to running a demo with the above boxes, Yan Lo + Izamu is going to have quite the point advantage over Viktorias box by itself. The Viktoria box is mostly straight forward, but does take a little more micromanagement to use than many other base crew boxes. Yan Lo is great fun now, but I would say he is not a good candidate for first time demos. He breaks too many of the games normal rules, not in a broken way, more in a "that's a bit strange" way. This is just my opinion though. If you decide to run demos with the two crew and Izamu, I would consider adding something along the lines of a Convict Gunslinger to the Viks to better balance out the points. When you go full fledged into the game, remember that the new standard is 50 points, many things went up a point or two from last edition though so it comes out to roughly the same amount of models. Also, your English is fine.
  22. The "ignoring other models during move actions" is just that. It can move through other models when moving, everyone else has to go around those models. It does not do anything else.
  23. Misdirection is an AMAZING upgrade, and probably (other than Recalled Training) the best one they have. I would use it with Disguise on Misaki.
  24. There is new stuff. Especially with the new master and faction interactions. For example, something has the Ten Thunders and the Hungering Darkness very worried.
  25. Molly has a specific rule that overrides the general rule in the main rulebook, much in the same was that Fast gives a 3rd AP to a model (4th to a Master). Also note the the rulebook entry on 0AP actions has been changed to "per activation", so if she were able to activate twice in one turn, she could perform 4 0AP actions.
