Yeah, I like Raphael's model, but when you compare him to Burt it's a tough sell.

Forgot about Merris, but I take her pretty often when ALitS comes up, I've never used Ulix though, that's an awesome little perk! I've used Pere for Frame for Murder but didn't think about using Jug Rocket to launch him forward, that's awesome. Never noticed the damage track got so high with the little Lacroix buggers, I'll have to keep that in mind. Lenny is just really, really great.

Ophelia & Francois get a lot of love, but what about the rest of the kin? How do you use them? Raphael seems like a lot of fun to combo with the Dirty Cheater upgrade combined with his Hard to Kill upgrade. If your opponent can't finish the job you can activate and get him back up over 1 wound to start the process all over again (With 3 ap, too!) How do you folks use the family?

So I've noticed that the PDF has some broken bookmarks in it. The all seem to work right up until Chapter 6: The Guild and instead just go to page 3. Important? Not at all. Irritating? Very. Anyway we could get an updated version up?

When you said you 'cheated initiative' did you mean to say that you spent a stone to flip the 13 off the deck? Because you can't cheat initiative with your control hand.

So I think how I'm going to do it once I've finished up everything else (the f***ing fishing pole gremlin... I'm going to rip my hair out...) is get some flying stands, take a pin vise to them, and mount them up on those. I'm going to work at the legs with some green stuff and make them look like they're flying. I don't know, the only thing I've done with them thus far is take the sprue out and verify that the antennae hadn't broken off. We'll see if my plan works out. I'm not really disappointed with the box, I genuinely love all the poses for the gremlins, but the thing is just so damn hard to assemble. And I've been doing this for a while, so I can only imagine someone who is new to minis games trying to get this box up on the table.

I just want the Brewmaster. Got so stoked about him when I got the Wave 1 book, and then just been bummed out that it's been this long and all we have is the box art. I had to pick up Som'er to tide me over though, oh darn.

I would love to get in on this when it starts up again, is email still the way to go to sign up?

That's what I'm planning on doing with mine; I think I'll try and model the legs in a 'flying pose', with them just kind of hanging straight, and pin them so I can easily put them on and off some flying bases.

Yeah, the belt has given me the worst of the issues, but I've only done Som'er and Lenny thus far... work on the BGs will begin tonight. Wish me luck!

Hey guys, So here's the thing, I've been playing minis games for a long time now, 9 years I think. The only models I've ever painted completey were some Necron Warriors and that was forever ago. Everything else is just primed black and based. I know that I need to thin my paints. I know I need to work on good brush control. I know a lot of things about painting just not how to do any of it. Can anyone point out some tutorials or threads here that provide a good understanding of the basics so I can finally get started? I really want to but just get intimidated because my stuff will look terrible.

I know this was posted a while ago but it was a fun read, congrats on your win! Also, you're a braver man than I, I don't leave the house without 2 Beckoners in my Lynch crew, but it seemed to work out for you. Did the Brilliance mechanic come up all that much in these games?
