I have a deepest desire to see master Von Schill. I run him as a master now, so I'm hoping he gets some interesting buffs/cuddles. I also want to see the new Strongarm Suit.

Just to clarify, so I'm not misunderstood, I was actually talking about the aRasputina argument a few pages back, when I talked about sculpts.

Well then, I shall acknowlege four things, 1: my first post in the topic was not exactly worded in the best manner. 2: regarding the straw man, hyperbole for the sake of argument is completely legitamate. 3: I would disagree with the idea that the majority of female models in the game are averse to clothing. Some examples would be Criid, Rasputina, and the Freikorps Librarian, for models I am specifically familiar with, 4: I would argue, but I can only see this thread getting more toxic, and I don't think I will continue with it.

It just seems like an unnecessary argument to me. You're taking something fun and simple, and making it into a battle ground. I highly doubt the Malifaux model designers, fluff writers, and concept artists are sitting in their office, twirling their evil, women hating mustaches and shoving their agenda into Malifaux. We play with toy soldiers. The sculpts have limitations.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this. On one, sure sexism is a problem, it needs to be fixed, we have to make a change etc. etc. But on the other hand, this is a miniature Wargame aimed at mostly adult males. While I acknowlege female gamers, the majority are men. I question whether it is productive to be having this conversation at all?

Well, I have a bunch of Warhammer Stuff up for trade. I've got a couple Dark Vengance marines, some Black Templar with BP+Chainsword. I've got a pair of Rhinos, one with the Black Templar upgrade doors. I've got the Dark Vengance bikes as well. I've got the Terminators too, but they are a bit hacked up/painted. For me? I'm looking for starter crews. Ressers, Guild, Neverborn? I'd much prefer metal, but just about anything is good. I'm looking to clear out of 40k, and totally Malifaux, so I'm chill with trading at a small loss. Specific Masters I'm looking for are: Sonnia Criid Lucius Seamus Dreamer Pandora Jakob Lynch Kirai

I'm also hoping we see the Strongarm suit become more...focused, for lack of a better term. For an expensive minion, he is not good at one thing, he's decent at two.

So what are you guys thinking/what do you want to see in the Leader of the Freikorps? All I hoping is that he retains a portion of his obnoxious survivability.

Well. I picked Von Schill because of the Slow to Die/Soulstone thing, so there goes that. I'm predicting the Strongarm getting better though.

Regarding Von Schill, assuming he has no mechanic smililar to what he has now, do you think we'll see more aggressive Librarian play? Maybe see some more use of Schill's (0) action Leader?

So how does one go about painting metal? Will spray paint serve as a decent base coat, to put a foundation over, or are there special rules for metal models? I'm assuming a grey base coat, and then trying my hand at desert cammo.
