  1. Just... dang, Mako. Brilliant, as always, my friend. Brilliant.
  2. Yeah, the cotton is a nice touch, but what really works well for me is the splash of hot pink/magenta.
  3. As did I. Thanks for letting hang out and spectate on your first game. Great meeting you and all the folks out for the tournament!
  4. Love the color choices... I'm thinking something similar for my TT guys. Insanely jealous of your speed and efficiency. Will most likely send Misaki to kill you in the morning...
  5. Alas, things are a bit too small/far away to have any useful comments for you. I presume basing is in your near future?
  6. And why are you hating on the Page 3 girls? They're doing their share to keep papers in circulation.*beer.goggles*
  7. For me, the majority of my minis, the humans at least, are asian in coloring. That's because to date, I've mostly been interested in samurai, etc.
  8. Very creative idea to use the model train track. Only suggestion I have would be maybe painting the track itself to look a more like steel instead of brass.
  9. There's a very nice thread here about assembling your plastic minis. However, what I've noticed in my two purchases so far (Ten Thunders Archers and Master of the Path box) is that they come with 30mm slotted round bases. Too bad none of the models actually build of a basing slot. :-! Especially looking at the archers, with their tiny little feet, how do you attach the models to the bases with any sort of stability? I'm afraid that trying to drill a hole for pinning is liable to chew them up.
  10. Which suddenly gives me the idea of doing a zen rock garden thing for bases. (And after posting this, I see a few links to similar ideas that others have posted. Ha!)
  11. Basing is one of my current dilemna as well. I have 2 sets of the Wyrd bases that should arrive this next week, and I recently saw the warcast stuff, which is neat, but not as inspiring for me with the bamboo bases. I'm looking forward to what you settle on, as I'm always on the lookout for cool ideas.
  12. Feeling a bit of the noob, but what is NMM shorthand for?
  13. Just wondering what 3D software you're trying out... Blender? Or something else?
  14. I'll see if I can get there to spectate on Saturday. I've picked up a few models, but no nothing about the game itself. It would be nice to see it in action.
  15. And I thought I was brilliant a few years back when I designed myself an expandable wargaming table (expands up to 7' x 12'). This piece? Just... wowzer. I have to concede that this idea eclipses my own paltry light.
  16. Thanks, gang. I've used Zap with my metal stuff, so that's familiar for me. Very glad to know other options, too.
  17. I'm new to Wyrd's products... the Masters of the Path box is my first purchase. All my stuff that I've done before is metal minis, but I understand that different glues work better with various plastic products. What glue works best with Wyrd's plastics?
