  4. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm not mistaken, Ophelia can't take Gracie in her crew because she can only hire Gremlins and Kin. Other than that, great battle report.

  6. Good Work. If you use Sonnia, you should make some flame walls because these look great.
  7. No such luck with freezing or oven cleaner. I don't think I'm gonna try brake fluid because the oven cleaner was some very strong stuff. Think I may have to buy new bases. :/
  8. I bought some models off eBay and some of them came on metal bases attached to the plastic bases. I didn't want to warp the bases when I boiled the minis in order to remove the excessive amount of glue and I wanted to use green stuff to piece them together instead. The problem is there is a lot of super glue stuck onto the plastic bases and I can't scrap it off. I don't want to just stick the metal bases over the super glue because it doesn't sit flat because of the crazy amount of glue the previous owner used and I'd like to avoid just buying new bases. Does anyone know some good methods to remove super glue from plastic without warping it?
  9. Running demos and pick-up games for Malifaux on January 5th, 2013 between 2PM and 8PM (maybe longer if a crowd shows up) at Walker's Trail Clubhouse (Address is 5000 Walker's Trail) in Greensburg, PA. Text or call 724-989-6025. Looking forward to showing new people Malifaux and playing some games with seasoned gamers.
  10. Thanks for the help guys. I think the "ground" level rule works best for all players and crews.
  11. In the case with either of those Strategies. How do you determine what layer to put the marker? I'm just trying to figure a fair way to do it without relying on the old "Flip on it, because I don't know that rule."
  12. I like to use the Terraclips when playing Malifaux and I love to make very intricate maps. One thing that I couldn't figure out is where do you determine where the center of a map is on multi-layer terrain. An example is if I have a building in the center of the table, with the streets outside of it, and the sewers below. Would the top floor of the building be the center point or the level that's even with the street? Is it the sewer? Is it perhaps every piece? We tried the last one a few games but if you have a Strategy like Supply Wagon then it makes it too easy for one side when playing low Soulstone games.
  13. Thank you for the kind remark. I'll add my other Guild models whenever I get the chance to take a nice picture.
  14. Loved painting these guys, they are one of the reasons I started playing Malifaux. They all took me about a month to finish. I hope to see alternative models of Death Marshals because I'd love to have more of them because they just look very cool.
  15. They look great and it's something very similar to what I wish to accomplish. But I still would like to know how his arm looks unassembled.
  16. Can anyone put a link or photo up of an unassembled Nicodem from his box set? I just want to know how his vulture connects to him because I want to use his vulture off of his model as a totem because I only want one totem and if I can save a few dollars for other models that would be great. Plus I'm not the best at doing custom features to a model so if I'd have to make a new hand for him or something like that I'll probably buy his alternate model.
  17. Nicely written! I like the spin of the game being comentatied.
  18. Wow Viruk, I just browsed through your paint jobs, and after seeing your work this comment means a lot more to me. Thanks for the positive input.
  19. Wyrd's customer service is fantastic. A friend of mine had a Teddy with a pretty big hole on it's back and he got a replacement with no trouble at all.
  20. I've had them finished for awhile but my old camera was taking bad shots despite my best efforts. So I got a new one and took some better shots. Working on Lenny and two Slop Haulers and I'll upload them once they are finished.
  21. That's how I figured it from the posts but I wanted to make sure. I know it's been explained a lot in this thread but if it was put in the rulebook to begin with (or be more clear on the matter), we wouldn't have to interpret how this works. I don't want to limit my gameplay experience because the rules ain't fully detailed so I'll continue to ask questions and get answers or popular opinions.
  22. Based on what you said, by climbing over a fence or balcony with a HT 2 model, it would fall 3" and take a damage flip for falling that much correct. Given my scenario above, wouldn't it be pointless to use the (2) Jump action for a model with Mv 4 because he would need to use 2" to get over the balcony and still fall 3" or am I not following your example correctly? Sorry this has been brought up in a few games and I haven't figured out how to remedy a solution.
