Bloaty

So I just got my Pandora in the mail recently and painted them up. Some of the detail is blurred out of the pics a little like Pandora's hair is darker on the model than the pic and Candy's ruffles are just blurry. Pandora! New Candy after attempting new eyes. Still kinda blurry though. Candy old eyes. Baby Kade Poltergiest Sorrows Doppleganger, she's turning into Pandora and there's an awesome mold line in her back! Teddy, this one is years old from my Dreamer crew but now this one pals with Kade and the NM one is with Dreamer. Full crew. Anyone have any tips on painting faces better? I usually just use black wash and hope people don't look but with Malifaux, I think I want actual faces.

Gets around Imbued Protection, Mad Haberdasher, and Badge of Office, though if they had to use those you're probably crushing them anyway. Plus any future upgrades or abilities that may come out. Pretty limited use right now though.

Ah makes sense. I'll be making it out there with at least one other person. Just not sure who to bring. I'm thinking McMourning with 7 Nurses!!!

Right, but I thought it was weird they didn't just go up to 45ss. Also, what's wrong with using a henchman in a 40ss game?

2 questions. 1) Are upgrades going to be fixed as well? I just see "Are upgrades" and don't get what that's supposed to mean. 2) Why 41ss? Its a weird number since I keep seeing 40, 45, and 50.

Hello. Ive been playing for a few years and I have a buddy whos interested in the game. He tried a different skirmish style game a while back and our buddy tried to teach him but explained it so poorly he wont play the game. He basically explained the rules as he did the actions which resulted in him winning quite brutally and played painfully unbalanced lists. I want to avoid that happening with malifaux so I wanted to ask here to see whats best as far as strats and schemes for demoing that wont overwhelm him. Whats a good ss to start with. I was thinking 40. He is interested in neverborn and will borrow my lilith and nephilim. Ill probably play arcanists but also have 10t. Available. We're just using book one stuff. Who would be a fair match up? Thanks for any help, im very paranoid about ruining this game for him so I want to make a good experience out of it. Sorry for any grammatical errors tbis was done on my phone during lunch. >_<

That's how we played it since it seemed to make the most sense, but just wanted to be sure. Thanks for the help.

Hello, I was wondering if you cast Void Record on Killjoy to bury him and a model is killed (or sacrificed) later in the turn, would Killjoy be able to unbury through that model with Blood Sacrifice? Or does he have to start the game buried for it to trigger. If he can, what would happen to the void marker. Would it get removed at the end of the turn anyway or would it move Killjoy to it or would it just stay since its target is no longer buried?

I have found protecting the Rail Golem with a metal gamin to be real useful. I usually run those 2 and Mei up the field together. She keeps up Vent Steam to keep him safe and when they get into melee, the pain train starts. Metal gamin is fun to eat off some of the burning tokens from the rail golem to finish off targets quick. Plus he makes the rail golem much bulkier by eating up some damage then healing it off.

I just finished painting all the Mei Feng crew and was excited to bring them, but I forgot I'm in Traverse City that week and I gotta leave early Sunday. ;_; I miss Malifaux.

Are we allowed to bring models that haven't been released yet? I've been loving my Ten Thunders.
