Okay, So I am confused.... What exactly constitutes the final duel total for the purpose trigger effects and abilities? ex: X model does 1 additional damage for each RAM in the final duel total. Does this mean, that if say I get a positive flip, for whatever reason, and I flip a 2 of Rams and a 9 of Rams, and my opponent flips a 1 of Rams, the final duel total would have 3 Rams in it for the purpose of abilities or trigger effects as mentioned above? IF its already been answered in another threat please link it to me as I cannot find it.

yeah I looked on the henchman finder thing, we dont have any listed in the entire state of Tennessee, unless i somehow missed it. So you are saying that only henchmen can get any sort of prize support or whatever(not that I personally am all that concerned about it) for an event?

So, at my local shop last night the question was raised, "why dont we run any tournaments at the shop?" we normally pick up games and that is about it. So I got to thinking, how would a tournament be ran for malifaux? Is there a document or something that can be referenced or a PDF that could be downloaded? For me it seems like there would be a degree of difficulty in doing a tournament as, you have to get the mission, get crews, then pick schemes and such. So how do they work? Someone have a reference I can read or something? Please If you all dont mind. I would like your personal feed back on pros and cons of running a tournament and such. Trying to convince the Store Owner to let us do one, but he wants details and nitty gritty.

Okay, so having does various events for Privateer Press in the past. Is this thing like a kit that my shop is going to need to order? or is it all going to be paperless and such?

I have no idea what's going on. But I am feeling the hype! Makes me want to do it, whatever it is.

Is he going to be able to include Anna Lovelace in his crew since she is listed as a freikorp but is a ressurectionist? trying to plan out my hired guns crew and I want to include her but need to make sure I can.

Does this actually come with anything that doesn't already come in the faction arsenal decks?

just playing devil's advocate here, but wouldn't (if we take perdita at her word in saying "dragons" plural) be the Victorias? I say this for two reasons, 1 their abilities all have the word "dragon" in them. 2 in their lore it says that they are rarely apart which would feed into the Yin/Yang theory? Yes the sword does have that one demon in it. But do we know for a fact that all the "tyrants" are inherently bad? Perdita let Sonnia live sand she is possessed? Maybe the Sisters are the Dragons and are keeping the evil demon in the sword in check? Just my thoughts.

So without trying to sound like an idiot. One of Ramos abilities is throwing me off, because I don't understand how it works I haven't used it yet in a game, for fear of royally messing it up. So could someone please explain to me how it works? (1) Summon the Swarm??? The way the text reads to me is that I am some how supposed to get a minimum of 3 TOME for each Steam Arachnid you summon. Now if I am reading this right, I have to get a 19 with 3 Tome to summon all three of them on a single flip? I know I am probably thinking or looking at it the wrong way, and feeling kind of dumb. Could someone please explain how exactly this is supposed to work? Thank you for your help.

I'm not fully caught up on the Lore, before when i played it was becuase of cool models, now I am diving into the lore pretty hard. Mechanic rider you say? I was thinking of throwing my spider swarms into the list, but I was unsure if Mei Feng would really benefit from it, outside of the reducing an enemy Df. I would think the rail golem would have been a solid choice, lore wise as they are on "loan" from the ten thunders to M&SU if I read the story right?

So after a very long break from Malifaux I have come back to the game with and insane vigor. I bought 3 new crews for Arcanists (Used to be a hardcore resurrectionist). I picked up Ramos, Rail Crew, and Marcus. Marcus didnt really work so well for me, the whole beast thing seemed a bit too complicated for what I like to play. Ramos is good and I enjoy playing him. However I am really loving the Rail crew with Mei Feng. Running her as an Arcanist seems legit. I picked up a Rail Golem to help the crew out a bit more. I am wondering where should I go next with her as far as expanding her crew goes? I've only gotten about 4 games under my belt and still feeling things out. Any advice I would appreciate!

Hello all, My wife and I, are brand new to malifaux. We are both avid Warmachine / Hordes players, and saw Malifaux as a nice one off game for us to do as something different. Anyhow, since we never do anything at half-measure we went out today and bought two of the starter boxes, the books, the cool basing stuff, decks, and terrain stuff from worldworks. We got home and busted open our boxes anxious to get out hands on minis we came across something in my wife's ophelia outcasts box. A Resurrectionist nurse model called "Miss Pack". Now the Irony of the name is not lost to me. But I was curious is this some sort of rare model or was it just simple irony on the part of the miss packed model? If someone could explain to me what we have I would appreciate it. thanks in advance.
