  1. Beau travail sur Kirai! Ce qui me plaît vraiment est le sang. Pas trop, mais assez. Je pense que tu as trouvé une bonne balance pour éviter que la figurine soit trop gore! Nice work on Kirai! I really like the look of the blood. It's not too much but still enough. I think you found a "middle way" that the mini isn't looking too gore!
  2. Looking forward to see the finished miniatures. Nice choice of colours for the worm!
  3. Ok, thank you for all the informations. Only 2 weeks and I'll make the purchase of the undertakers lot. Thinking about opening a thread. Maybe i'll be more motivated for painting :-)
  4. Of course. What I meant was I'll buy as a second crew Kirai or the Redchapel Gang^^
  5. Thank you for the informations. I suppose for the beginning i'll play against a friend of mine, whose playing The Order of the Chimera. I think i'll have to swap the vulture with a grave spirit^^ The Redchapel Gang is also an alternative for Kirai I have in mind. Is it worth buying it? I mean, naked Belles (omg, help!) luring some mortals next to my Punk Zombies...
  6. Thank you for the reply. To be honest, I personally prefer the grave spirit in terms of play, and I really tried to take it. But I like the fluffy idea of a bird, getting glowing eyes during the game and throwing decay or I don't now what on the ennemy :-) Although it seems to be a little bit more tricky due to the reduction of the CA... But hey, it's a bird :-) And thank you for the advice with the positioning. I'll have a test game in may, so I can learn how to position him. I think the rogue necromancy will be for later on, but you are right with the bell. I'll check where I could put her. Maybe instead of one of the Punk zombies. Don't know.
  7. Hello, After a long time reading some posts about the rezzers, checking the Malifaux wiki and different other sites I finally decided to begin next month my rezzers crew. Juggling with different masters I decided to start with Nicodem as my first leader. Later on i'll perhaps add Kirai (couldn't get y eyes off Mako's thread in the miniature showcase *smug* ) , but that's not for the next few monthes. Well, here's, in my opinion, a balanced list and I wanted to know what you think about. Although I've never played Malifaux i''ve already played different other tabletop games since nearly twelve years now: Master: Nicodem, the Undertaker Minions: Mortimer, the Gravedigger Bête Noire 3 Canine remains 2 Punk Zombies Totem 1 Vulture In addition I wanted to buy 1 Flesh contruct and two packs of mindless zombies. With my precedented boughts this would give me 6 Mindless Zombies, 1 Flesh construct, 1 Punk Zombie and 1 canine remain to summon during the game. The goal was to make a list which isn't expensive in terms of buying supplies (more or less 70 € / 85$) and, as I already told can complete different strategies. I thank you in advance for suggestions; With best regards; Christian
  8. Ubelievable. Nice work on Kirai and Seamus!Especially his clothes. Wow!
  9. Nice work, especially on the spirits of vengeance as on the legion of sorrows!
  10. Like your base! I'd let it how it is. Otherwise it comes too "overpacked". My opinion
  11. Wonderful crews, especially Marcus' one!
  12. I like your Gremlins. Maybe an additional touch of green ink (only a suggestion) missing, but all in all nice miniatures! Especially like the moskito (small little beast^^)
  13. Wow, I don't know really what to say :-) Really like your Ressurectionists Crew. Although the bases look, imho a little bit to "clean" for them. Nevermind. Great Job. Thumbs up!
  14. I like the shadin of Collodi's clothes. The doll also looks nice
  15. Ok , I think i'll start with Nicodem or Rasputina. Don't know which exactly of both but i think i'll check with some friends who also want to start. If one of them takes rasputina i'll take Nicodem, if not i'll take Rasputina. Maybe i'll start later on a second crew which will then be one of the Neverborns (I think Collodi or Lilith). Wyrd doesn't make it easy to make a fast choice. Well done :-) @ alle: Thank you for your help!
  16. Thank ou for the replies and for the informaions. If I unerstand well the neverborns are a faction for more experienced players. uring the next days I'll compare Nicodem and Rasputina, make two different lists and order one of the two crews.
  17. Well, two weeks ago I heard for the first time of Malifaux and was after a short time fascinated of the story and of course the factions and the miniatures. This week I got the rulebook and I soon read it. My dilemma is now what faction I should use to begin. I know it's a difficult question ,I also read some posts in the faction thread but I'm still not sure what to take.... I'm still hesitating between Nicodem, Collodi, Pandora and Rasputina. Because of my only mediocre painting skill I thought that Rasputina would be a little bit complicated to paint. Nicodem is imho the easiest for painting, because of the dark colours (hey, and I really like the idea of zombies thinking they are punks :-)) Collodi's story fascinated me, same as the one of Pandora .... In therm of playing, which crew do you think is easier to play with. I know, they all have their pros/contras.... In therms of playing I prefer to weak the opponent from distance and to make the final strike after a certain time (is this playable in Malifaux)? Thanks in advance for the help; Christian
  18. Really like it! How did you do the bloodsplatters? with a teethbrush?
  19. Thanks for the welcome^^ Unfortunately they told me today in my local store that they don't sell Malifaux -.- Doesn't matter. Ordered it today online :-) @The one: To be honest I haven't thought of playing the Guild yet. There are so many fractions with so many beautiful models... won't be an easy choice I think^^ But thank you for the advice!
  20. Maybe a little bit late for the question, but may I ask which colours did you use for painting the skin of the zombies and the clothes of Nicodem? Really like them!
  21. I like the metals,looks really steampunk-dirty
  22. Two friends of mine, one studying at Cologne, the second studying at Hull University are also playing (they told me today). I hope I'll find some more. Otherwise I have to play with my Kids (one is 9, the second is 3 years old) Just kidding :-)
