She absolutely can take Gunsmiths (this is why people shouldn't use the crew creator as gospel). But again, depending on the ruling mentioned above, you may lose your ability to summon Wicked Dolls as a conflicting special forces.

Mechanical Rider is, imho, the best rider. It's ultra fast, it hits hard, but its a glass cannon. Well balanced imho. Shame it doesnt have Drag Along though.

Is it your LGS that is being obtuse, or you? All of these questions are answered in the rules forum by searching. In any case, if your LGS doesnt accept forum rulings, then there's little value in discussing them here and cluttering up the forum further, right?

Oh, that extends to official rulings too? Lol. Get a new LGS would be my advice. Alternatively, we can recommend you some broken crews that have been fixed via rulings on the forum, but since they ignore the forum they wont count. Once you beat them with said lists, maybe they'll see why there's a rules forum

Couple of things here: The resolve effects step explicitly removes effects from models in play. Buried models are explicitly not in play. By the rulebook, this works, no forum rules involved. Although if your LGS does not accept forum rulings and such, I'd suggest that the real issue here is your LGS, not anything else. All of these rulings can be found in the rules forum answered by marshals or Sketch, so do some searching and print them out maybe, or take a good mobile device gaming with you? Or just break out the fists and explain to people why they're wrong. Not sure why. You were linked a ruling by the lead rules guy further up this thread that specifically states that this is how companion works. Not sure what more you want or what more we can give you?
