Some scenic elements for the display tray that will allow it to be customised to be used with all my oriental crews

Have also decided to make a display tray for use at tourneys too. Hoping to be able to continue the theme from the basing with some scenic elements of 30 & 40 mm bases to fill holes where there are no models dependent on crew selection.

All, Like most gamers, I buy faster than I can paint. Much faster. I mean, minis before food! As such, I have decided that 2014 will be the Year of the Pledge for me. Simply put, I'll keep track of both purchases and painting here to manage the ratio and endeavour to get stuff out of the leadpile and on to the table. If anyone wants to join, reply below and I'll maintain the original post as a group record. You should be honest! Secret buying is just another form of denial of your problem!

Thinking of running an event in 2014 with a difference to the norm. 1 day event. 3 rounds. Unique masters (must use a different master for each round). Multiple faction (must be at least 2 factions used). Entrants will be grouped into pools based upon rankings (although the event will probably be non-ranked). Placings will be based on the ususal TP/VP but it should mean that anyone could have a chance of podiuming as you will be playing similarly skilled opponents. Should be good for all, noobs will have a chance of winning, the good players don't suffer the randomness of the first round result in the final place. Would want to run a raffle as well as tin cups for top 3. Thoughts?
