May be a day late and a dollar short on this thread as usual. But would love to hear about gremlins placing in a tourney. For all I know it happens all the time. But like I said, I want to hear about it.

Curious what folks think about running Zoraida with predominantly Gremlin henchmen. I've seen reference to Pere being used fairly often, but not a lot else. Thoughts, tips, tricks? Or is the +1 premium to hire out of faction that big of a handicap?

For counters you have a few options. Several printable options available online. Printed on a nice card stock these can be very nice. Heard of folks modeling there own on blank bases. My imagination bounds at how these could turn out. The option I went with are some very nice wooden counters made by a company called Advanced Deployment. Wish I knew how to provide link. Going to have to learn how one of these days. I'm sure google will pop them up with ease.

I'm far from an expert at this point myself. But I can tell you that you will want at least one if not two additional blisters of bayou gremlins to add to his starter box. He can pump more out pretty steadily in game with the right flips. He can also produce piglets in game as well so a pack or two of those as well are pretty helpful. They're harder to pull off, but even having a gun line it's nice to be able to have the option to use all abilities when playing him imho. Ophelia is an addition I am guessing you will want eventually as well. Strongly suggest just getting her starter box when you do. All her kin are fun. Not to mention running her as a stand alone crew is a nice option with a very different play style. Not to mention they all can be used by Som'er Skeeters are also very useful being his totem. He can use 4. Though they reproduce in game as well. So don't have to all start on the table. Unfortunately they are sold individually. Slop Haulers are very useful for healing. Many seem to put them very high on the "need list". Love the gremlins. But the need/want list gets long and pricey pretty fast I've found. I tend to collect all the options for my chosen faction in what ever games I end up playing. So doesn't really bother me to terribly. But can be mildly frustrating getting enough options to feel comfortable making him work.

She's a bute'! Is that a nose though? Kind of looks like one on the alt sculpt as well. Big fan of the lack of nose design Wyrds gremlins have. I like them differentiated from the other green skins all the companies produce.

Thanks for taking the time to type all that out. I've been scouring the forums as well as rereading the Pull My Finger wiki a million times. Trying to fully wrap ones mind around all the possible play styles Som'er is capable of can be a daunting task, choosing him as your first master starting out. I would even suggest trying to find a way to squeeze it into the wiki. The info there is invaluable. Having it all in turn by turn detail helped me big time. I would love to read your lost portion on gun lines as well.
