  1. And the individual rats I've done a whole bunch of Outcasts for this army, so if you want to see them all, feel free to check me out here
  2. Been painting a batch of Rats today, for a client. Hope you like.
  3. Yyeeesh , PVC claims another victim. Its a terrible material for anything outside of anime figures and bedroom aids. I was very surprised (in a good way) about Wyrd's decision to jump to styrene. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. I appreciate cost/reliability is an issue for styrene production (look at the woes PP are having) but still, this is a worry. I'm not a huge Wyrd player, but I do a lot of painting of their figs, and admire the line (both metal and styrene). A move to PVC kills all interest in the figures, I'm just done with the material. Maybe Wyrd and PP can buddy up and help create a US styrene production plant to avoid the issues everyone is having with the Chinese Styrene production. Kickstarter has really gummed up the production line it seems. (This is obviously not a serious suggestion, but it would be nice, we have renedera over here, as the ex GW styrene guys, it would be good to see more options popping up as the world of gaming continues to expand).
  4. Been away a while, but now I am back with some Outcasts I am painting for a friend. These are painted to a mix of basic and mid tier level as part of my studio, SinisterSquidStudios. Hope you like. Jon. Basic Mid Mid Mid More pictures of the crew, and my other work can be found on my FB page: https://www.facebook.com/SinisterSquidStudios
  5. PM replied to Luke, you should be good, but let me know if there is an issue. Cheers. Jon.
  6. If you need confirmation, PM me your name/email and I can cross check with the database. Cheers. Jon.
  7. Sing ups for events go live tonight at 20:00 UK time. All sign ups will route via the smogcon.org webpage, there will be a link to an eventzilla page where you can make your event selections. Remember, you get two competitive events to sign up to initially, with remaining spaces being offered up closer to the event depending on demand. We just hit 200 tickets too, which is amazing. Cheers guys and gals.
  8. Cheers He felt that at 28mm eyes can look weird, so requested the "Clint Squint" instead I kinda like it TBH, saves a lot of eye heart ache too
  9. Currently painting these guys up for a commission. Really enjoying the Malifaux plastic kits, well done to Wyrd for risking it and pushing these guys out. Beats restic any day Client requested no eyes and he will complete the basing. Cheers
  10. Don't panic guys, there is plenty of space for our Malifaux players to come and play. As well as all the comp, there will also be tables for you to use in the casual area, so even if you are not playing tourney games, you will still be able to get pickup play at pretty much any time. With each player intitally limited to two choices of event, you should all get to play to your hearts content. This will open up closer to the event. This is out third year of running, and while this is our most ambitious year yet, we have a great team in place, backed up by new bloos (or old blood ) with Myke and Conrad looking after Mali for us. I can also pretty much state that people will drop from events they book in to. It happned last year with most of the tourneys. So if you don't get what you want to play in, rock up to the event about a half hour before it kicks off and see if you can sneak in. Anyone who has attended GenCon should know roughly what to expect as we have modelled the con on the "American" setup. If it ain't broken and all that.
  11. errr, now! http://smogcon.org/ Go there and enjoy
  12. Hi guys, just wanted to drop by to invite you all personally to the event. I'm Jon and I head us this crazy schindig. Myke and Conrad put on a good show (as evidenced by the 4M event if you attended) and I can't wait to see what the guys have cooked up for Malifuax. We are looking forward to widening our horizons and seeing lots of new faces at the con. Cheers all and hope to see you there. Jon.
  13. Mmm, Taylor is the red head with the hammer yes? I like her, have a thing for redheads and hammers... ummm... yeah. Might well pick her up. I quite liked her fluff when I read the book. I take it she serves as the melee beat stick in the list?
  14. Malifaux is just starting to make waves at Tanelorn too (East London) we run a lot of WM events, nothing to say you won't see other games taking up some space in the future... just saying. Probably won't be podcasting about Malifaux yet though... still a alot to learn.
  15. So, not posted for a bit. Been running some Warmachine stuff at the club and not had time to pop back through the portal. However, we are looking at running a short story driven escalation campaign thingie at the club in the not too distant future. What do people recommend for additions to the core box? I've seen teh Vivtorias listed (along with Rhonin for them). Anything else good? I want a couple of cheapish models to bulk out the force and give me some fun painting projects.. Answers on a postcard please folks. Cheers. Jon.
