Welcome to Malifaux. Mind your wallet and soul. In honor of the unlimited release of Malifaux 2e, Texas Battle Bunker will host a one day Achievement League. If you are new to the game, the non-competitive nature of the league makes it a great way to get started. If you are more experienced, the league is a great way to meet new players and experiment with different crews. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Wins, the Best Painted Crew, and for the Overachiever who earns the most achievement points during the day. The league will begin at Noon on October 19, and totals will be tallied up at 6:00 pm. A $5 entry fee will cover prize support. I played Tara (poorly) against sombody running the child w/ Nicodem. He started by using it to summon Hanged from corpse tokens he generated, and the switched to useing Vigor Mortis on Sybell. Now, it also helped that I'm not very good, but I think its a viable strat to get a bunch corpse markers down and then raise them

Not really. Lets say the giant, bloodtirsty teddy bear in front of you gets distracted and starts to wander off. It would take some serious intestinal fortitude to try to get that bear's attention and keep it from walking away.

I've noticed that the 30mm Victorian Base inserts have dissappeared from the online store (the 40mm and 50mm are still there). Anyone know where they got themselves too, and if they are coming back?

My plan had been to start playing regularly on Sundays (because that's when the Sister and Brother-in-Law can play ), but also have a tournament one Saturday a month (which Saturday is currently pending as Aaron, the owner, and I work out schedules). Of course, I can also change up the Sat/Sun thing. I just want to try and get things to the point when people know somebody will be available to game with if they come at a certain time during the week.

Come join the crew of the Texas Battle Bunker as we host our first ever Malifaux Tournament! Texas Battle Bunker 1964 Northpark Drive Kingwood, TX 77339 281-359-3168 The tournament will take place on Saturday, July 21. Registration will start at Noon, and Round 1 will begin at 2pm. There will be a $5 registration fee that will go to prizes. Prizes awarded will depend on the number of entrants. This will be a 35 Soulstone Domination Single Faction Tournament. There will be no painting requirement, and proxies will be allowed (no more than ½ of your crew may be proxies and the proxies must be easily distinguishable from other available models. The TO (i.e. me) has final say in the appropriateness of proxy models.) Strategies will be shared, and will be fixed for each round. All schemes are available, but are unique (may only be taken once). The tournament will have 3 Rounds, which will last 85 Minutes each. We hope to see you there!

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED! Come one! Come all! Come join us for the first ever Texas Battle Bunker Achievement League! “What is an Achievement League?” I hear you ask. Well, just like in a standard league you challenge your friends and nemesi... er... nemeses...er... whatever to play games each week and keep track of your wins and loses. But, in an Achievement League you also score points for such feats as playing your first encounter against a new faction, painting up a new minion, and the first time you manage to flip the Red Joker in a Duel with a Negative Twist! The league will start on Monday, July 9 2012 and run through August 19, 2012. There will be a $15 Registration Fee which will be used for prize support. Prizes will depend on the number of players. We will having a “Kickoff Night” on Monday July 9 @ 5:00 pm, but you do not need to attend to play in the league. Just sign up at Texas battle Bunker. I dunno. This "dice" thing just sounds like a gimmick.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Since duels can't be a draw (attacker wins on ties I believe), there will always be a loser in a duel after the initial flip. He/She/It/They is then the one who has to cheat first.

1. Glad to see (er... hear) more Rathnard. I agree that he's presence is very complimentary to Ian's and Julian's. 2. I can think of anything that's not working for me, but I will say I love the Malifaux Ministry of Music, Movies, etc. etc. etc. Keep up the good work!
