  1. Thanks everyone! I think on Sybelle I'm just hung up on the fact that she doesn't 'pop' as much as the others with the colors between the stockings, flesh, and body like the other belles do. Appreciate the thoughts and she's good for now. Just might go back and try a deep red dominatrix red with more highlights on her instead at some point. The skin was the first step in painting and actually the easiest. 1) Black P3 Primer on the whole model 2) Vallejo Model Air Light Grey Green airbrushed over the model catching the upper surfaces. 3) Vallejo Model Air Pale Grey Blue airbrused lightly on the skin 4) Two coats of Secret Weapon Green Black wash (mixed with some matte medium and windex) to add some rotting tone to it. Then just go after the cloth and the details. Can't speak more highly right now with the Model Air paints and Secret Weapon washes! It's a great combo for working quickly and painting thin and smooth along with some P3 colors for blending.
  2. Love the paint scheme for the Guild models. It's actually inspired me to finally get my Nightmare Justice box painted. Also that Illuminated coming out of the guys head is simply amazing. Makes me really want to pick up Dark Debts! Great job and can't wait to see more of your work as you post it.
  3. Cool stuff. What materials did you use for the bases? Also really like the blue with the gold/green on the rider.
  4. I despise your efficiency. With knowing you are a Hamelin player as well, I really think you have an army of lost children in your basement painting for you. Really like The Family models. Great job and cant wait to see some avatars and McCabe added in. ---------- Post added at 11:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 AM ---------- And care to share how you actually got basically a whole faction painted in less than a week? (if it isn't the army of lost children, that is...)
  5. With the new year I really want to focus on getting a substantial number of my Malifaux crews all painted along with sharing any conversion projects or other tutorials as I go. I'm an Outcast player at the moment but have branched out into Rezzers and Ten Thunders based on the overlaps with what the masters can hire. And cause they're just all so cool Feedback, constructive criticisms and suggestions are more than welcome so feel free to reply. Hope you enjoy. ---------- Post added at 11:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:01 AM ---------- First completed for 2013, Seamus' crew (Cause why wouldn't you try Belle's with Leveticus every once in a while). I was really happy with how Seamus came out and the different dresses of the belles. Not sold on Sybelle so she might get a retreatment at some point.
  6. Just wanted to let you know that the Bloomington group is planning on starting up a Malifaux league again mid-late Jan as well. We have a core group of about 5-6 players and will probably be focused on Malifaux every other Wednesday night and occasionally Saturday morning as schedules allow. Details will be posted on the store's forum as more is figured out: http://gryfaliasaerie.com/
  7. Same to you, good sir :)

  8. I'm still new to Malifaux but I've been using this at 35SS. Viktoria -- 6 Pool Student of Conflict [3ss] Convict Gunslinger [5ss] Desperate Mercenary [2ss] Desperate Mercenary [2ss] Freikorps Librarian [7ss] Ronin [5ss] Ronin [5ss] It seems to usually be able to get off a first strike from shooting and then the Viks, Ronin, and Desperate Mercs can really go nuts in melee on turn three. I've basically been using the Librarian just as a healer for the Viks (as well as the expiring Desperate Mercs) and occasionally going for blasts depending on the situation.
  9. Cool, thanks for the info. Still learning the rules and makes sense.
  10. I did a quick search and didn't seem to get any hits so I thought I'd ask the question... From previous discussion I know the advantage of taking a Canine Remains with Leveticus to get a cheap model to make a Hollow Waif. Is there any reason you couldn't do the same trick with a The Stolen model? I know it's an extra point but if you kill it though Leveticus' spell to make a Waif, wouldn't it generate a rat, which you could then kill for another effect afterwards? Seems like it would be a better net value in points. Thanks for the assistance!
