  1. And Sonnia's counterspell... That can stop those spells from tagging your guys. If I'd have remembered that in a game vs neverborn, I would've aboslutely murdered a nephilim and had a clear line to killing off Lilith. Seems to me like Neverborn can be sorta easy-button. Guild can take them down, though... you just have to remember every little thing your models can do.
  2. My guess, based solely on the crew builder on the main page, is that they aren't allowed. Which is okay, considering they did next to nothing in the Lucius game I played yesterday. The Austringers, however, mopped up hardcore.
  3. This. A million times. You know what would simply fix them? Give them the coffin as a usable weapon. Range 1 or 2. Give them a trigger for the coffin, that allows them to, instead of dealing damage, immediately cast Pine Box with a bonus to their CA. This gives them the fluff of using it as a weapon, the ability to use it "from a distance", and a little better chance of making sure whatever you're trying to put in the box GOES in the box. I'd pay an extra 2 points for that.
  4. Or it could be like mine, 8958, that just finally got shipped out today. Or you could be luckier.
  5. And another day goes without word on 8958.
  6. Look at it this way. Yours shipped. It's en route to you. You'll get it.
  7. The only advantage I see the toolkit having is being a readily available tap for fast, and if you tap it you can't utilize the heal. Nah, I see a more mobile model that can move up, heal something father away, still shoot, and has good survivability. Not perfect for every matchup, but definitely worth the points for him... as long as you aren't taking Ryle or the SS Miner.
  8. I'm kinda hoping this was my package. I'm wholly expecting for it not to be.
  9. That's true. But technically, when you have an internal log of transactions, you deal with your transactions on a first-come first-served basis. Yeah, I don't think that'd fly. It lessens the act of someone getting there right away to place an order. And what if there are limited quantities of some items? Your "random" idea means that someone who ordered during the last hours could get that item, and someone who got their order in the first day could be waiting weeks for something on back order.
  10. Believe me when I say I restrained myself when I emailed them (immediately after posting about it). I understand that stuff gets hectic and a little screwy after a huge rush of orders, I do... But when you "skip" orders and go on for several hundred others without contacting those people at all, it's a little ludicrous.:irked:
  11. Ditto. Money is gone out of my bank account since the 5th. I really think an explanation of why they're skipping around orders like this is in order.
  12. The words "what the crap" come to mind... My 8958 is still only processed, we're now getting into the realm of 400 orders past it...
  13. Ouch. Now I know they've passed by my numbered order... That's cold.
  14. Hoffman is a synergist with some solid hitters, a weapon that ignores armor (and can disassemble constructs), and loves to brick up the field. Ramos is a defensive damage dealer with some solid hitters, a spell that he loves to spam out for armor-ignoring damage, and enjoys hanging out in the back. They're close, but it comes down to Hoffman's basically pulling his constructs up close before peeling apart to tear faces off vs Ramos hanging back with a steamborg while his spiders bum-rush the opponent.
  15. Uh, Monsieur Caroland was in here a few pages back (page 8, I think) telling us that stock was indeed on hand for customer orders. I doubt that low quantities are an issue.
