    M2E Scale

Give them some time to look at the issue. Models were only released for Gencon (how long ago was that again?), and aren't hitting the stores for another 3-4 weeks. I think we can now assume they are aware of the scale issue, and are deciding what their response will be.
  2. I want to like this, but Thanks isn't exactly appropriate.... I am seriously impressed by your table-fu. I too am old and grumpy (but dislike painting and building!), but I do play at a club with fluffy lists and people who won't play tourney lists unless you ask them to. Much more fun IMHO.
  3. I orginally used fishing weights to weigh bases down. Then I realised it was cheaper and a lot easier just to use pennies. Turns out it works better too. Also tried using plaster, but messy and didn't weigh enough.

    M2E Scale

In scale with them would be good, but she is supposed to be a height 3 model, not height 2. Steamborg was the correct size for the terrain I play with, i.e. was taller than the ground (2nd for Americans) floor of a building. Its a free model so I can't really complain, but it isn't usable in the game.

    M2E Scale

Having just opened Miss Step she looks incredibly small. I was expecting something along the size of the Steamborg Executioner, but (from looking at it) it will barely come to half that height, and 1/4 of the bulk. I can't picture them together as someone knocked it off the gaming table and I'm still sulking about it being in pieces and chipped before I even finished the painting so haven't fixed it yet.
  6. It is awesome, but (emphasis) IMO not really suitable for tabletop playing. My club play in pubs, so lighting isn;t great, on generally dark surfaces, with buildings also being dark (except for a couple of western themed towns). So having a miniature that is either mostly not there or able to blend into the background makes for a game where it can easily be overlooked. It can be argued that that makes the minature more realistic, but I don't want to lose simply because a model blended into the background and I forgot it was there. Hence why I use luminous orange objective markers.
  7. Postage is expensive but not out of line. 1 book, 2 arsenal and Tara to UK for $33. The ouch will be if customs decide to charge VAT (they will if they notice), which will add roughly 20% + $15 money collection fee.
  8. I built Vanessa a couple weeks ago and it took nearly 20 minutes to glue her hand on. Piece is so small I can't pick it up easily, or get a good grip on it when I do, so it gets dropped, then I have to look for it, where it is supergluing itself to fluff in the carpet... You can't change the posability of it, I can see no reason for it to be seperate, so I _really_ wish that there will be no more models with seperate minute pieces.
