Single day of Malifaux gaming and we will use the Dead of Winter rules (yet to decide which week) The Royal British Legion, Lucknow Street, Portsmouth, Hants, PO1 1PT. We will be there from 11-6 and welcome anyone for some 25 ish SS games during the day, play as much or as little as you want. There will be an entry fee to cover the hiring costs which I am yet to confirm but should be £5 per head, as usual bodies come in free. I am off to China next month for business trip, if I find something like that I will bring extra ones home. I buy my 30mm felt rings to put on the base of my models, they must have some sort of cutter.

Thanks, I am hoping to find something like a hole punch if they exist

Does anyone know where I can get a cutter that will do 30 and 50mm circles? I have printed off the markers/tokens froms Rattys page on some lovely high end paper and want to cut them out and stick onto mdf. I just need to get perfect circles from the paper.

I suppose in fairness to the newbies there are always bits that could be added, new experiences we get while playing and new models being added. If I asked what is good with Mcmourning when I started playing I would have got a different answer to what I would have this week. Maybe we should have 1 thread for each of these and just ask that people constantly add to it rather than create new ones.

How strange, the only issue I ever had with their sprays was clogged nozzles. I emailed them and they send me 'mk 2' nozzles and they have been fine

Do you have any set routines when it comes to your making and painting models? My ocd wont allow me to start painting until every mold line and bit of flash has been removed and smoothed, then after undercoating I always paint the face first. I find it gives the model character straight away and of course gives me someone to talk to on the late night painting sessions.

All of them. So many people tell me that all the models are great and capable of doing the job and getting the win. So how come I usually lose? I mean, it must be the models, it cant be me

Army painter for me, I find it covers better than GW and gives that even coverage right to the end. I have always found GW tends to become 'bitty' near the end.

Christmas is a time for goodwill to all men but as I sit here with my tongue hanging out and immense feeling of jealousy in my eyes I hate you all. My plastics are still in the post somewhere. Damn, those models look good.

I have never had much luck against Hoffman and being offered some models at a price I couldnt resist ( £30 for all these plus Ryle) I thought I would spend my week off making my own little crew. Photography is not the best and they need to have varnishing but you get the idea.

I suppose previously Wyrd used to put up a page for 'due out this month' or something like that and we saw a bit more then. This time the last one was the release for 'fall' whatever that may be. That means we dont get so many treads with new items. Seriously, do you guys over the water not have an autumn like the rest of us?

Aren't the book 4 models being released bit by bit through to March? We may be a tad behind the states but everything seems to be coming out when expected. I havent got any of the new plastics yet but due to a certain xmas/birthday sale I will have soon
