  1. And now I'm tempted to buy some Freikorps...oh, I already have those. Then, I'm tempted to buy Puppet Wars once it comes out!
  2. I think it's . <- Don't listen to me
  3. Thanks for the suggestion! I might consider getting some things from them...
  4. That's looking pretty good...I wonder if I can do something like that with the "crackle varnish" I have. Guess I'll have to try on a piece of plasticard
  5. The picture isn't showing up
  6. Awww...those hats look GREAT on your minis! Especially on LadyJ...I'd love to see bigger pics of them!
  7. Hey there! I'm working on some terrain features for our soon-to-be gaming board, both "normal" and special. Doing some badlands/western-ish theme for them, like you can see on my Hanging Tree. I'd like to make a Dead Zone terrain piece too, but I don't really know how to start...any ideas how it should look?
  8. So, I already had a few games with this list...and won them all. Hamelin IS pretty cool with them, he really adds some tricks. Of course, after those tricks, he'll be the main target for my opponent, but still... Oooooh how I loved the look on my opponent's face when LadyJ just walked off the table after failing to resist Piper's Lure...on the first turn And a question: Can I use Von Schill's Leader action twice to activate two models after him?
  9. Pretty cool glowing effect on their eyes!
  10. Looking good from that angle! I especially like the hair on LadyJ and the Judge.
  11. Welcome to the forums! Oh, and I _REALLY_ like your avatar...good to see a Firefly fan around!
  12. Nice work on the minis - and on the bases too!
  13. I share LonelyPath's opinion on Sonnia, LadyJ, Raspy and Colette, my friend is playing with the first two, my gf has Raspy, and I started with Colette. The first three are pretty fun, and easy to use, while Colette IS fun even as a beginner, but hard to master - she could be awesome when you know her tricks. I'd like to add another suggestion: the Freikorps. I got them last week, and had a few games with them (35 SS with the addition of the minion version of Hamelin), they are pretty hard to beat - and easy to use (except the Trapper, I still couldn't figure out how to use that right), the starter is a solid crew for 25 ss, and it isn't to hard to "upgrade" them for bigger games. AND the Freikorps Armor is pretty hardcore against Sonnia or Raspy who use a lot of blasts
  14. Same here...especially some Assault on Black Reach space marines that I got as a gift... About those brass coryphées...I just HAD to do something to make them look less like mannequins-with-blades
  15. Nice work on those, I really like your dark paintscheme!
  16. *salutes* Puppet-Freikorpsmann Nightseer reporting for duty!
  17. Gotta love that Rider...aaand...the PERFORMER! Lucky LonelyPath (And if I saw that artwork earlier, I'd have used that scheme for a Performer...)
  18. That's sooooo true... Luckily, I got paid for that. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch it....
  19. Yeah, it seems they should be pinned, or they might fall off
  20. That base looks nice! So do the Coryphées...but I agree on the highlighting thing. Are they removable to be the single coryphées?
  21. Would be nice if I could get something like that around here...but it's simply not possible
  22. Lucky you! Guess I'll get the normal version for myself then
