  1. A very fitting end to your best effort so far. I can just picture Stryder looking out of the window as the camera pulls back and pans across Malifaux's skyline A true noir ending. The writing strength continues to improve with each offering on the forums. I like how the deaths of somewhat insignificant characters still have an emotional knock-on effect. I look forward to the next chapter in the story.
  2. I met Julian and Megan in Edinburgh. Sadly, no game, but a nice Chinese buffet and coffee.
  3. Loving the plot developments. It's nice to see Stryder's vulnerable side
  4. Solid writing as usual. Loving the different style.
  5. I was a bit "eh?" by the ending, but after re-reading it as one big story, I noticed all the little bits and pieces, seeming insignificant at the time. I can't help feeling that this is a little bit like Holmes & Watson, but remember that Watson was a trained professional in his own right. Don't make out hero out to be a hapless sidekick to Stryder. Well, that's just my take on it. It's your story and characters: do with them as you want to.
  6. I feel sorry for him. I hate it when people disturb those types of dreams. As always, I want to read more.
  7. Wow.... just wow... I know it's only the beginning, but I wish my hands were as steady as yours
  8. I've just finished reading the whole Black storyline thanks to the master thread you made. Brilliant and compelling reading.
  9. Ok, Part 2 is up now. Much more to look at and hopefully get a few opinions back to see how they look to other people. Sonnia Criid - Part 2: Witchling Stalkers!
  10. Welcome welcome. Glad to see another lurker coming out of the woodwork.
  11. I also really enjoyed the episode. I didn't jump to any conclusions whilst watching it but will say that I did grin a lot at the final scene. Let's Kill Hitler is gonna be an interesting title for the new episode.
  12. For a second I thought those hadn't been primed and the paint was applied straight over the metal.
  13. Nice little nods to existing world characters there. Not leaning on them for anything more than a vague plot reference. keep up the good work. I wanna find out what happens next.
  14. Behold, another of the converted has joined the flock. Welcome brother: Undead hookers to the left, Soulstone Gin to the right
  15. Probably not what you're looking for but: http://www.back2base-ix.com/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=67
  16. Evening All. I posted the first part of my painting log for the new crew on my blog. I thought i'd share it here as well. I've not just cut and pasted it here as the photos come out at some horrible sizes. As always C&C welcome. I'm always keen on learning different methods for achieving a nice model. http://coinandcarnage.wordpress.com/2011/05/30/sonnia-criid-crew-progress-log-1/
  17. That Garagehammer episode was fantastic. A really solid run through of the game and fluff.
  18. I really like the greenstuff work on the box. Also, Teddy is fecking huge! I never realised that until now.
  19. That coat just makes the model shine. Clearly I'm not in the least bit jealous...
  20. Some very solid painting there Talos
  21. At the risk of getting funny looks: I'd never noticed big Ophelia's assets are until that photo.
  22. Rasputina is a great crew for creating scenic bases: they have so many options for winter bases, from slate+snow to ice bases. It's always good to see another take on the textbook base. Where did you get the crystals for the 50mm bases?
  23. Welcome to the forums. Come for the banter, stay for the cookies.
