  1. Only just beat you to it!..
  2. Yes, it would shatter. If it is removed from play due to its wound total reaching 0 or another kill effect like Headshot, and not removed due to being buried or sacrificed, then the model is killed and any triggers or reactions from that death will happen.
  3. Colette: Mechanical Doves and Coryphee
  4. Haha, im not THAT strong a swimmer! Look forward to meeting, and showing those Guild who's really in charge of Malifaux!... @ all. I have started looking at travel arrangements, so if will have initial details posted up here soon with the arrangements that can be made and likley costs for those interested...
  5. ukrocky is not lying lol....he was unlucky to get drawn against 3 Colette players in that many games over the weekend!.. He is a very good player too (currently ranked number 1 in the UK, and he just about beat my Colette crew!..) Just remember this game is about strategy's and schemes not about killing models...Marcus can be very good at what the game is about, esp with the right Beasts in his crew.. Oh and Marcus in melee is actually quite good, no Lady J to be fair but more than respectable with Shellaigh....
  6. I agree that the other Masters dont get as much affection. There was a previous post a few months ago that voted for best master, and both Ramos and Raspy scored highly. I feel Colette gets the glory for 2 reasons, 1 is she is a second book master, and like most masters in book two, has much better options for mobility shenanigans, which is key to most schemes and strategies. 2, thanks to her mobility she is very much harder to pin down and deal with by other Masters. Raspy and Ramos are quite slow, although are in their own right very good. Marcus is simply least understood. Having played against Marcus with my Colette, I have a greater respect for him, but he does seem to rely on non Arcanist beasts to make him competitive.... Just my thoughts. P.s. I for one push the Collette banner simply for a bit of banter and friendly competitiveness, not necessarily because I dislike the other Arcanist Masters, others may be in the same boat?
  7. Im sure we will find out the next set of releases soon, but I havent heard about Rafkin being in September release, so unless its in October I dont think it will be intime for the GT. Kaeris on the other hand!...
  8. I dont know what all the excitement is about?....there just a bunch of small green squishy things!...Good for target practice or sword drills but thats about all! :AR15firin
  9. Hi leggo, That's great, good to hear your up for it. And thanks for a heads up on the Geek Nation Tour, I will investigate that as an option for the travel arrangements as part of my planning for this for those that want to go next year.
  10. Have no doubt, we will!..but all to make us all stronger for next years big tourny, we gotta put our skills where our mouths are and prove to the Yanks us European lot are made of win! Good luck this weekend Zeph, and bring it on at GenCon 2012, Not worth unpacking my models unless I have some challenge!... haha
  11. It was a fun game, albeit I was playing against an Arcanist crew by name only! lol Colette is one of the best Scenario completing masters in the game!..Now i've seen what Marcus and beasts can do, next time Marcus wont be so lucky, he is the runner up Arcanist Master afterall!! :boxing:
  12. Uh-huh! Yeah I remember said game! soo close!!!
  13. All im gonna say is that magic taught the boy a lesson with a mother figure who is just as interesting!
  14. hahaha, scheming?...its called "communicating". Its all about communication!.... Individually im confident us European lot are good, but after some European competition amongst us honing our winning ways we will be coming to the US next year as a force to be reckoned with!... You Yanks best get practising!... lol
  15. Haha, thats a good idea! Infact its something that is already in the pipework although initially on a European scale first time round, with Worldwide following year if it proves successful. There is a post on the Europe forum gauging interest in the idea http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21933. Country V Country to find the best National team!... Unfortunately Lalochezia, there is a minimum standard required so you might not even get a game :aetsch:
  16. Yes and very soon when me and Magic come for the tournament in Belgium next month...start building up our strong European Contingent for GenCon next year!...
  17. Yeah I was wondering when you would pick up on that one (gulp!)..
  18. Yeah, will do, Im gonna be plugging this on the 10th so all good. Agreed! I will start planning very soon.. Glad your both interested, we now have a great potential start to building Europe's international credentials and reputation. :powerfulpuppet Any more UK players more than welcome. Be good to get some buy-in from some of our friends the other side of the channel too!... Any and all expressions of interest welcome...
  19. On this line of thinking, could be a good use of Companion with Coryphee and Colette...Companion with Mannequin, send in Coryphee and then disappearing act against your Coryphee Duet so it is safe from reprisal. Mine tends to get a lot of attention, not that it dies much mind you, and having it soak up attacks is good, but in some cases, not having it about, being attacked, might be a good thing... You will have to make sure you save your Doves til last so you can protect it when it reappears without giving away its likely final position too early...
  20. Exactly. Unless there is a real good reason not to Reactivate in any given turn, you will always be using her Artificial SoulStone to give her Reactivate. The trigger from the spell is simply to offset the cost of casting the spell. There are several ways to generate extra soulstones for her crew, both with Colette and with other models in her crew if that is what you are trying to do.
  21. I like mine rich and smooth... :vb_cheers Looking forward to meeting some of our European fellows, looks like we will have a few people from a handful of countries in Europe, so should be good. Im recruiting for a European contingent to go to GenCon next year.. :P2
  22. Hey Adam My email is arp3086@hotmail.com Cheers Ash

  23. And dont forget Iggy, it may be a Neverborn model, but is made for Kaeris! Actually a model that not only generates Burning tokens but also takes advantage of multiple tokens on models....
  24. Excellent. If we can get just 5 people from Europe to attend, we will have a noticeable presence, but the more the better!.. Will mention it on the 10th then, cheers.
