  1. Kidnap only works on Minions. See page 104 of the Rules Manual.
  2. He must discard a card or soulstone each time he is wounded no matter how many wounds he takes at once. So, if the two wounds in your example are coming from the same event he only needs to discard once.
  3. This got pushed to the second page without any resolution. Can we get a Rules Marshall on this?
  4. This train of thought leads to problems. Doesn't this make Ryle an enemy of your own crew? I thought Mindless Zombies were not friendly or enemy models (except when being controlled) and that Ryle was not friendly or enemy to your own crew and an enemy to the opponent's crew. Do models moving away from Mindless Zombies have to avoid disengaging strikes?
  5. Any chance of getting a little rules marshall guidance on the placement of counters? That half of the original post seems to have been ignored.
  6. I was kinda of wondering the same thing about Leveticus. I have his v2 cards but the .pdf has a v3 card for him. If I buy the card off the webstore will I just get the v2 card again? If anyone who can change the website sees this it might be a good idea to list what version of the cards you'll be getting when buying from the webstore.
  7. When I gave the Perdita vs Pandora example I was only talking about See the Unseen, not Immune to Influence. I guess I should have been more clear, but I didn't think it was necessary. This is in no way inherently true nor is it true in the specific case of Ryle. He is, for example, Immune to taking WP tests from Harmless while he is acting. Some abilities ignore entire talents such as Terrifying vs Harmless. Other abilities only ignore the effects of talents such as See the Unseen.
  8. This is the exact opposite situation of Perdita vs Pandora. Pandora has a 'remove immunity' ability but Perdita has an 'ignore' ability so Pandora's ability has no effect. Ryle has an 'immune' ability while the Performer's ability prevents 'ignore' so it doesn't have any effect. If this isn't right, someone needs to explain why.
  9. Ryle is Immune to WP duels. Irresistable may not be Ignored. Ignore and Immune do the same thing but are different words so in this case Ryle wins.
  10. I'm not sure how I managed to completely miss that thread. Thanks.
  11. You need to read the charge rule again. You can't charge a model that is already in your melee range.
  12. If you can take a Minion with the Mercenary trait for a reason other than them being a Mercenary do they still count against the limit? For example, Nicodem can hire any Undead; can he hire Killjoy and two other Mercenaries?
  13. I believe this is how it is supposed to be even though the Rules Manual kind of implies the opposite. When you are getting ready for an Encounter step 6 is Hire Crews and the last part of Hire Crews caps the starting size of your Soulstone Pool. Then step 7 is Choose Schemes which tells you to add 2 to your starting Soulstone Pool for each unchosen scheme.
  14. Actually, what he said, and what the rules say, is that each model gets one (0) per activation, not that there can only be one (0) per activation regardless of how many models are acting.
  15. I hate bumping for the sake of bumping, but is there any chance this topic could get a little love?
  16. I don't think this is quite right. Remember, the Rule of Equivalency is dead. I think you now resolve the two effects in order of activation as per page 6 of the Rules Manual.
  17. Are you sure this is right? I don't see any mention of it in the Rules Manual. I always assumed you only measured when it actually mattered whether a model was in the aura or not. For example, if a Steampunk Arachnid has an active Disruption Field, when a nearby model declares it is going to cast a spell you then measure to see if it is in the aura.
  18. So has Sketch, but they only concerned themselves with question number 4 out of 5. I'd appreciate it if the other points could get some attention too.
  19. Any chance of a Rules Marshall weighing in on this?
  20. All the questions did get answered, but for some, the people answering the questions either disagreed with each other or seemed unsure of their answers. Can we get a Rules Marshall to sort these out?
  21. I'd still like confirmation one way or another. Can you Linked In a Reactivated model if the opponent has had a chance to activate since the model activated the first time?
  22. Any chance of some help on the other questions from my original post?
  23. Any chance of getting Rules Marshall answers to my other questions about Bete?
  24. So, this means a Reactivated model can be Linked In later in the turn as long as the opponent has had a chance to activate a model already?
