You can! While there are some that are "Wow, a brush, hey look I can create awesome," most great painters started where you are now. Painting classes can be huge, but if you can't get any of those, try youtube, there are great resources there. And if your still having trouble, ask here. My painting has jumped incredibly in the last 6 months, because I have been asking painters like FoeRender "How?" Usually followed by "I have no idea what you just said, explain how to do what you just told me to do." I have yet to meet a painter of any skill that won't turn waterfall when asked how they did something. And above all, like anything, practice.

The metallics come off really well in the pictures, so if the real is even better, they must be stunning. Have you thought of a wash for the Steam Borg? It might draw all the colors together, while not adding to your get the crew on the table time.

That tree is huge! The sewers are awesome! Puts the sewers I am working on to shame. Same modular idea, but way weaker on the walls. I am stealing that and a couple other idea from those for tables I plan to build. Thanks. Which crews were there? How did they place? Must... have... details! Glad it was a success.

It may just be the pictures, but those are REALLY dark. Makes it hard to pick out the details. Have you thought of a fine edge highlight? Maybe blue to coincide with Ryle, but a grey would work as well. If you make it a kinda of light color it would really pop.

This is a small con being held @ Standley Lake High School. http://warhorn.net/gator-con-2011/. I have access to one of the vendors that will be there, and have been asked to run some Malifaux demos. Are there any Henchmen already running anything at the event? I would prefer to not step on any toes. If not, it will be my first official demo experience and wondered if anyone would have any pointers?

Hey, I'm a pretty new player, but have died head first into Malifaux. I love the system, and I'm always looking for a game Fort Collins way. I am starting to run events and would like to make henchman status, and hopefully we will see a Malifaux event at Tacticon.

I found this over at Hirst Arts. http://www.hirstarts.com/tips/tips.html#painting Haven't tried it yet, but looks like you can get a good effect on the cheap and easy. Will be time consuming, but I hope this helps.

I don't know of anywhere to get ALL the cards, but the older cards can be found in the v2 stat card file. All the info you need for any model is in the books though. I think most of the Rising Powers book models are up to date, and the Rule Book has a starting place for the older ones.
