  1. We have a new sponsor! The event will also be sponsored by Counter Attack Bases, purveyors of all manner of tokens, measuring devices, templates, terrain and markers. You can find them at counterattackbases.co.uk. Counter Attack with be designing and making a custom Heartfaux 2014 30mm marker which every player at the event will receive. This will make an ideal Turf War marker on the day. They will also be doing a special Heartfaux Wooden Spoon for us.
  2. The magic did happen, and we're now in the large hall for the day (same room as Monkeefaux last year for those of you who were there). We're going up to 36 places now so there's plenty of room left. This means that we're also taking sign ups again, first come first served basis. Cash to me (via PayPal) is the way you secure your place, with the payment details in the rulespack.
  3. Having seen these models in person at Vappa, I can say they are phenomenally good. The freehand work on them is fantastic.
  4. Cool, we're still working on getting confirmation of more spaces (I'm not 100% sure it will happen yet) and I don't want to make any promises until we get confirmation of the booking.
  5. This sounds awesome, a great idea, especially is Boyzie is going to be there giving painting tips. I don't think I'm going to be able to make it across though as it's a bit near other stuff I've got booked
  6. If you choose Tarot Reading as an Upgrade, non-faction Swamp Fiends (Gators, McTavish, Wild Boar) appear under the "Models" drop down at their usual price. Some (like Bayou Gators) also appear in the mercenarys drop down (as Zoraida can hire them via her Enhtrall ability) with a note to indicate they are available cheaper by other means.
  7. Demo once again this Monday 24th Feb at York Wargames Society, 17 Nunnery Lane, York. 1900 onwards.
  8. Last place gone, but we will be making more spaces available in the next week or so.
  9. We're down to our last place in our current allocation of places, but fear not! We're just finalizing the details to move to a different room so we can open up a load of new places for people to come. We're also working on some new sponsorship deals, which I'll share details of once I have got them finalized.
  10. We're currently looking for any additional sponsor for the event so we can pump up the prize pool and make it as awesome as possible for everyone coming, as well as raising money for BHF. If anyone know any companies or individuals in the miniatures field who would be interested in supporting a charitable event then please PM me. I'll also be pestering people for prize support as well We already have a new sponsor in the shape of the Malifools podcast who will be providing us with a couple of their brand new, unique fate decks. We're currently looking at the possibility of expanding the event to more places, but due to costs we need to make sure we can fill those spaces so if you'd like to come but can't commit yet please let me know so I can add you to the interested list.
  11. We have our first event sponsor onboard: Bendy Boards! Expect an excellent prize to be added to the tournament prize pool from those guys. In the meantime, check them out at bendyboards.co.uk.
  12. No problem, I suspect we might be expanding capacity anyway so there will be space by Friday (and sorry for getting your name wrong on the main list).
  13. Demos again this, back York Garrison this time: The Folk Hall, Hawthorn Terrace, New Earswick, York, YO32 4AQ From around 1830 onwards.
  14. We're on to 15 places sold so we're 75% sold out of the current allocation of places.
  15. Vasilisa+Doppelganger+Zoraida = Potential 8 Obeys per turn... You'd need 5 7+ Masks and a decent tome to do it but it'd be cool to try.
  16. Samurai are too expensive in 10T, I can't see paying another 1SS to Enthrall them into a Zoraida crew is really worth it. I'd rather go with a Convict Gunslinger, Hans or McTavish to give me extra shooting. The voodoo doll and the burning condition is nasty, and you can do it easily with Zoraida's Hex bag as well as taking Iggy. Generally if I'm using voodoo doll/nurse combo then I prefer to use the paralyze trigger on take your meds. If not using the nurse, then I summon the voodoo doll and then attack it with Bad Juju and hit his paralyze trigger on it. You get the double whammy of paralyzed and damage on your sewn fate target. Personally, I generally favour the primordial magic as my totem. I like the card draw it gives and it's ability to count as a scheme marker can be very useful in some schemes (plant explosives or spring the trap for example). If the PM is used up, the I might consider the Voodoo Doll but with the way I like to play the voodoo doll is too costly in AP to make it worthwhile.
  17. I've put you both on the interested list. I really need payment before I can guarantee your spots.
  18. Rulespack now live, first post updated with details. We're now taking sign ups for the 20 spaces we have available.
  19. It is slightly confusing, but it refers to the End Phase (or more specifically the Upkeep Step of the End Phase) which is on page 34 in the big book.
  20. Yep, that's deinfitely how it works. Page 52 says: "The Paralyzed Condition is removed at the end of a model's Activation (not during the End Step)". This means it would carry over until the next turn when the model would have to Activate, do nothing, end it's activation and lose Paralyzed. If it gains Paralyzed during it's activation (such as failing a Horror Duel), it immediately ends it's Activation and loses the Paralyzed condition.
