Love the dynamic poses, this is way better than the original miniatures. love the glowing DM heads as they were always supernatural to me when I read the fluff.

@limbah: By no means do I know anything about the laws concerning copyright but I was just wondering aloud, I would hate to see you get into trouble over this as I really like your counters.

I like the design, really stylized. But I do wonder what the Wyrd team thinks? Copyright and such.

Haven't read the entire thread so I'm sorry if these have been asked before: 1) Will the Avatars be released simultaneously with the new plastic masters and will they also get a resculpt? Are their rules in the Gencon rulebook? 2) the rulebook that will be released around Gencon is that the complete 2e rules and the second rulebook in 2014 will be new rules and profiles or will the rulebook in 2014 be an expanded version of the Gencon rulebook? 3) If you're waiting to start Malifaux can you just buy the new plastic boxsets and have the correct stat cards or do you have to buy the faction deck? I'm hoping for a dynamic pose for new Seamus and a correct size McMourning.

I really would like to pledge for this kickstarter as the miniatures are stunningly beautiful however as they have no european distribution I'm not going to pledge as the reduced shipping cost don't cover the immense customs tax I'll probably get hit with once they ship.

Cipher Studios started a kickstarter to fund an expansion book called Inferno and they already passed their goal. I'm in for Double Hell Gate and can't wait to try this game out. Never read the comment section, and probably will never meet anyone who posted there. So I couldn't care less about any comments they made. Although I can fully understand being turned off from any game by a bad community. I pledged $190 and looking forward to receiving the minis. I'm going for Cerci and Doctrine.

Thank you for the links. Maybe I should be more specific: I'm from the Netherlands so any stores that are willing to ship to here are fine. The ebay sellers (and most online stores in the US) charge €40 to €50 shipping. The Amazon seller doesn't ship to The Netherlands. So I was hoping for a link like Wayland Games or Maelstromgames (they don't carry top loaders) that do ship worldwide for a reasonable price.

Does anybody know any online stores in the UK or Europe that sell the 3.5 x 5 hard plastic toploaders from Ultra Pro (or any other brand). The shipping is insane from US online stores and I really don't want to laminate my cards.

You do realise that you're not getting one tree, but three in one box? There's the big one with Eric and Nathan both hanging from it and two smaller one with either Eric or Nathan that can be used as alternate The Hanged. Plus there are a lot of extras like vultures etc. on the sprues.

(posting this without reading the entire thread so I'm sorry if it has been answered already) Is there anything in the book that is useful (and perhaps fluffy, not body hair but story wise) for Rasputina?

It appears that the coffin is a seperate piece so no cutting and (possibly) no green stuffing needed.

I feel the same way, I don't think the oriental style fit into the aesthetic of the current factions, so while I did order the book, I'm still debating whether I will use Ten Thunder miniatures in my Rezzer and Arcanist crews.

Personally I hope the Henchmen only get one copy and they see it as I do; as a personal gift for all their hard work, and you don't sell or give personal gifts away. I'm not bothered by only the henchmen getting Santana, they work really hard for it, what I am bothered by is some 'regular' players having a Santana and most other players not. I say every non-henchmen should (be able to) get one or noone at all.

And Spring-heeled Jack, don't worry I asked Lono about the two Jacks and they are both on the list for consideration. I especially like a Spring-heeled Jack for the Lost Boys gang as they are sky pirates I see them all with jetpacks and SH Jack bouncing behind them.
