  1. If you do find the time be sure to say hello Clousseau. Good luck with the demoing. Glad you folks seem to like her. The casts of the 32mm Talullah seem to have come out pretty great. She's a very delicate slender lady, but still manages to look like she could kick some butt!
  2. Hello! I thought I'd stick a post online to let you know what I'm doing with my company - Infamy Miniatures - this weekend. I love the smell of spam in the morning... smells like victory! But I am really excited about it all, so please forgive me my enthusiastic sharing of info. Online store sale This is for the folks who cant make it to see Infamy at Salute (where I'm on the British Indie stand TM01 - http://www.facebook.com/brindieminis). I'm putting the same discounts from the show onto the online store over the weekend of the 20th-21st. You will also be able to order the 32mm scale version of the new Infamy model Talullah Belle in limited quantities online and I'll ship her out a month in advance of her end of May general release. Finally, you'll be able to pre-order the very limited edition 54mm and 90mm versions of Talullah online as well. These are also due for release at the end of May. Talullah Belle Talullah is my latest release and she heads up the Lost Boys, a gang of sky pirates. I'm so happy with how her model has come out and I can't wait to see her painted up by people. I've put up the 90mm version at - http://www.coolminiornot.com/330433 I'm releasing her in three scales. The 32mm version will be unlimited and is for use in the Infamy game I'm working on. The 54mm and 90mm versions are aimed at painters and collectors and come in very limited editions. Salute 2013 I'm at Salute for the weekend and if you're there on the Friday night I'll hopefully catch you at the Custom House Hotel bar! If not, on Saturday I'm at the British Indie stand, TM01, in the bottom right corner pocket of the show floor. I have the same discounts as mentioned above and you won't have to pay postage costs. Also, should you decide you want to pre-order the bigger scale Talullahs you'll save some extra pennies because they are a bit cheaper at the show than they are online. Cool beans, hopefully I will see some of you fine folks at the show. Cheers, James
  3. Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm pleased to present Chee-Chee, the latest release from Infamy Miniatures. Although he's designed to fit in with the other 32mm models in the range he is actually the size of a 54mm miniature due to him being an oversized mutated brute! Name: Chee-Chee Producer: Infamy Miniatures Scale: 32 mm (suitable for 54mm) Material: Resin Concept art: Martin McKenna Sculptor: Gautier Giroud Website: http://www.infamyminiatures.com Purchase the model at: http://www.infamyminiatures.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=61
  4. Right now it's about getting really cool character models released. The cost reflects the level of the resin casting quality and development. I'm keeping things in line with other bespoke model ranges, but I understand that a full skirmish game where gangs cost hundreds isn't feasible. The first game is well in development - a boxed game - sort of a dungeon explorer where you battle across London achieving objectives. Each player controls one character and although they are working together, the relationships and trust between them is fragile at best. This game will come with lots of plastic non-character models. You will be able to use these in gangs in the skirmish game when it comes out as well as the boxed game. Stat cards and combat rules will be shared between the game too (although there will be extra levels of complexity in the skirmish game). Should you choose, you can create campaigns linking adventuring through the city in the boxed game and then large scale combat in the skirmish game. So, basically, build up your sexy, resin characters now and then restock with cheaper grunts later! If you want more info check out the website, Facebook page /infamyminis or twitter @infamyminis.
  5. Frank's now in stock and ready to ship. Woo! You can order him at - http://www.infamyminiatures.com/shop/index.php?route=product%2Fproduct&path=67&product_id=58 Also, postage and packaging is free on any Infamy orders over £30 Here's how he looks with a rather splendid paint job by Javier Gonzalez (Arsies) There's no way to guarantee availability of all three sets by the time the Lost Boys come out i_was_like_you, as it all depends on stock levels at the time. There are still models left right now, but a few are getting somewhat low. They'll all be recast eventually if stock runs out of course, but not necessarily straight away.
  6. Being the money grabbing Infamy overlord, I think you should buy both starters i_was_like_you! I've just stuck up some pictures of another soon to be released model - Peter from the Lost Boys gang - on the Infamy Facebook page should anyone care to take a look. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.300651270038921.61822.102839256486791&type=1
  7. It's not too late and the ones in the starter set are indeed the first run models, yes. Sounds like you can see use for pretty much every Infamy model as a proxy! Hoping it won't be too long until they have their own rules sorted out though. Glad peeps are down with how he looks.
  8. I've been crazy busy lately and pretty absent from the forums, but I'm hoping that it's still OK to post my companies minis here. Finally I have a new model ready for release. Hurrah! Name: Frank Hyde Producer: Infamy Miniatures Scale: 32 mm. Material: Resin Concept art: Martin McKenna Sculptor: MIKH Website: http://www.infamyminiatures.com This bulky brute is a member of Doctor Jekyll's Monstrous Menagerie. Sculpted by MIKH he is on the Infamy Miniatures website to pre-order now. The first run is of 250 high quality resin casts which come with a limited edition card. I hope everyone likes the model as much as I do. Here are some pictures of the sculpt that really show off the work MIKH has done. You can also vote for it on CMoN at http://www.coolminiornot.com/318228 if you are so inclined. Cheers, James
  9. The Stretch Goal base has a slightly similar vibe, but it has more going on and is quite different. That's one was made by Javier to go with his studio paint job.
  10. Hello everyone! The campaign is going great guns and is closing in on $3,500 right now, which is totally awesome. There are all sorts of bonuses that you can get by contributing as stretch goals have already been hit. I'll also be adding some new perks in a few days, so keep 'em peeled. http://www.indiegogo.com/infamy-watson Also, Javier Gonzalez has done a flat out amazing job painting the model. Here are a few shots. You can see more on the Infamy Miniatures Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/infamyminis graeme27uk - Those one's are a bit too League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, so for now they aren't in the plan, but eventually who knows.
  11. The way I do things Jack will be a lovely guy who saves women from an untimely demise. There are a ton of models waiting in the wings. Some are already made, some are in the process of being made, some are illustrated, some are written down, a great many are floating around in my head. Eventually they'll all be unleashed. If the IndieGoGo campaign keeps going at this pace I can push ahead with more models sooner. I'm blown away by the response and it's only $375 away from the Infamy Insider stretch goal now. AWESOME!
  12. Hahaha! It sounds insanely brilliant and utterly terrible at the same time. Models have real, working flamers to melt the resin in double quick time! Putting my serious hat back on though - this isn't a game for armies, it's about gangs carving out a reputation in the London underworld and the small scale skirmishes that happen as they do. The standard size for a gang in play will vary depending on your leader, but a great many won't hit double digits for a basic game. Leaders and lieutenants (the models I've been releasing so far) are very detailed sculpts. I feel their status dictates that, so high-quality resin is the material of choice. With that comes a cost, but I feel it's one worth paying. A few other named characters will be available for your roster outside of the leaders. They will have a similar level of detail and high casting standards. Moving past that though, a lot of the lower level potential recruits - unruly thugs, vicious packs of street urchins, technology hating Luddites, corrupt Police, re-wired automatons, imported US defence droids, re-animated factory workers and so much more - will not be as insanely detailed. They'll still be sweet looking models mind you, I'm not going to release anything that doesn't meet my own very high standards, but they won't all be at the detail levels of a MIKH sculpt! I'm currently looking into the best material to cast these ones in, because the plan is for grunts to be cheaper in both the game world and the amount of real world cash you'll have to spend. Do I have you crumbling like a fine quality feta cheese yet?
  13. Hugor, I honestly couldn't do a perk like that, because the range will be huge if everything goes according to plan. I've got grand ideas and although they may not pan out, if they do, it's going to be pretty epic! I love the name you suggested for it though! Sorry for spoiling your Sedition Wars plans Chucklemonkey. I have to confess I've pledged on that one, but I can justify it as research right? Of course I am very happy you've taken the Infamy option. I don't think you'll be unhappy once you get the models.
  14. I am very pleased to hear Watson's proving to be appealing. I'm sure you won't be disapointed if you do put in on one of the perks. The models are all pretty tasty. Let those defences down ThePandaDirector! Here's another view of the Watson sculpt, showing how the model breaks down into parts.
  15. Well, that flew by! I've already hit my goal, so now it's a case of building. I've added Stretch Goals to the campaign so anyone who contributes will get extras if we hit the new targets. Anyone who has already made a pledge - thank you very much! I really really am so appreciative. Hopefully this campaign will keep on building and I can take it beyond my initial expectations. If the later stretches I have in mind happen, I will be able to do some very cool new mini things ahead of my planned schedule.
