  1. Yes yes, I believe my wording was quite off the mark. The more I play with these two the more I realize they play like two completely different models, despite the rules trying to make them act like one.
  2. I've read through the other threads on this and I couldn't find an answer to a certain situation for The Dreamer and Lord Chompy Bits. The Dreamer activates, finishes activation. Lots of other stuff happens. Somehow Lord Chompy Bits is placed on the table. Can Lord Chompy Bits activate? Lord Chompy Bits would also gain all the AP The Dreamer did not use as per normal ruling. Both models have different activation's, so I'm confident the situation I explained above would work but I would like to make sure. I guess the large gap that could occur between their two activation's is throwing me off.
  3. Zzz there we go, yeah reading it now The Dreamer is Killed/Sacrificed then does his ability. He just gets removed from play after everything gets placed for placement purposes. Got it! Edit: Where does it say Killed/Sacrificed models can't be the target of abilities? I know it seems kind of unnecessary but in most cases they're untargetable which is not true for this case...
  4. I think this situation occurs only when the dreamer dies but I may be wrong. When The Dreamer dies he can place any number of Buried nightmares onto the board within 6''. This includes Lord Chompy Bits. When Lord Chompy Bits comes into play, One Master triggers and The Dreamer must be buried. So does One Master take effect before The Dreamer is Killed/Sacrificed and he is buried and he's in the state of Killed/Sacrificed but Buried? I think I'm just looking too into it and I hope I'm making some sense. Sequence of events: The Dreamer - Killed/Sacrificed The Dreamer - Release Nightmares The Dreamer - Place Lord Chompy Bits Lord Chompy Bits - One Master (Bury The Dreamer) ????? Actually if this was true it would just be an infinite loop of Lord Chompy Bits and The Dreamer dying and burying each other. Silly ability ordering...need to get my key concepts down...
  5. What are these target values based off of?
  6. In the new Rules Book, Eye for an Eye is worth only 2 VP announced (all schemes were reduced to a maximum of 2 VP). The game would have ended in a tie with the new ruling.
  7. I would agree with karn, not having nightmares takes away The Dreamer's effectiveness. Not being able to pick up and drop your minions really hinders his play style. If you don't run any nightmares you'll also have a zero soulstone cache, which is never a good thing. One or two non-nightmares is OK...but I wouldn't through in any more non-nightmares. I'm guessing this question was more along the lines of this and not a full non-nightmare list. Building off what karn said about the Hooded Rider, I think the riders are usually effective in most any list because of their mobility/strength so it could work with the dreamer.
