Things to do: Figure out how to make The Dreamer look more ghost like and still give him details. Add highlight to the twins. Give Coppelius some freehand (pants or coat) Apply wash to bases. Add moss in between cobble stones?

Kad, in Austin Malifaux is being played at Dragon's Lair on Tuesday. Our Henchwoman Morella is doing her best to grow the community here. Here is a link the the League thread she started.

I want to thank Erin for the learning game and for getting the Malifaux community going again. She going to be a great henchwoman. I've had The Dreamer for over a year now and have yet to play a game of Malifaux but that problem has been resolved. Also here is my first battle report: We went with a simple starter box game and just picked strategies with no schemes. 20 stone starter box game (Me) Neverborn Crew:Treasure Hunt The Dreamer /LCB 2 Stitched Together Coppelius (Erin-Henchwoman) Guild Crew: Slaughter Lady J 2 Death Marshals The Judge Exorcist Standard deployment Guild win 1st turn initiative flip Judge and two Death Marshals move up on West side. Lady J and Exorcist move up on East side The Dreamer attempts to summon daydream twice and fails (didn't get a single mask in my hand the whole game) walks and brings out a stitched Both stitches walk and call forth creeping fog. Neverborn win 2nd turn Stitched 1 double walks and continues to call creeping fog. blocking LoS from The Judge and DM to the dreamer Judge and Death Marshals close with the Stitched Dreamer Flies to the treasure, drops Coppelius and trys again to summon a daydream failing. Stitched 2 Walks and creeping fog again and hears Lady J around the corner. First blood Coppelius walks into melee with a Death Marshal and pucks out an eye and paralyzes him. Guild are unphased by the removal and don't fall back. Lady J closes with the Stitched. Neverborn win 3rd turn Dreamer gives up on daydreaming and flies over to the judge, Call Chompy who misses once and I cheat in a book for the all done trigger leaving the judge with weak damage and poison. Judge can't hit the dreamer but hits Coppelius for moderate damage. Coppelius responds by removing the judges eye and they don't fall back. Stitched #1 double walks to the treasure. (I think we missed some disengaging strikes here, could just be the judge moved and the stitched walked around ) Lady J went to town on the Stitched#2 but left it on 1 wound and didn't trigger does not die. Stitched 2 did gambler and gamble for your life on Lady J emptying her hand and getting a moderate, but did weak on him self and triggered does not die. Exorcist moved up and did nothing Stitched2 reactivated and succeed in draining Lady J of a soul stone but not much else. Neverborn win 4th turn The Dreamer calls Chompy again, Chompy kills the Judge but fails to get the all done trigger. Death Marshall misses Chompy Coppelius eats an eye and paralyzes Death marshall #2. Death Marshall #1 activates and dies to poison but misses Coppelius with his last breath. Stitched#1 picks up the treasure and walks out of the ruins. Lady J moves to Loard Chompy but can't get into strike range Guild finally win turn 5. Exorcist cast a spell that stops triggers. Lord Chompy charges Lady J doesn't do much Lady J strikes at chompy and does some wounds (but after this combat both of us are out of stones) Stitched#1 double walks toward the deployment zone. Coppelius floats and strikes at the Exorcist. Game called due to time... I think I had it wrapped up with at least 2VP if not 4VP depending how far the Stiched could have walked. Depending on the initiative flip would have determined who would have won on Lady J vs LCB Things learned, about half way through the game I learned that paired give a +flip on to hit, must remember terrifying. Also focus on spells would have helped summon the daydream. There is a reason you buy day dreams to begin with, didn't think it would be so hard to find that other mask. Give an old guy a break :crutch: I love the sculpt, but really it took me two hours to glue his tentacle to his face. I still have Lilitu and Lelu but they don't look too bad. -Off to buy even small drill and rods.

Thanks Buhallin, I placed an order for their coarse stone and field stone, and some patio stone. At some point I'll post picture.

Has anyone had experience with using Plastruct products for bases? I was looking at their O scale cobble stone and patio stone. No LFG carries it, and it is hard get a visual of how it looks with a miniature.

Both Dragon's Lair and Wonko's are options. I spoke to Eric at Wonko's and Thursday are open. As with any game the more players the more the schedule opens up.

Greetings from another new Texas player. Sort of bass ackwards I've gone all in with a Dreamer crew. Now to find an intro game and play a game. The local community seems to have gone dormant, here's to giving it a jump start.
