Upgrades - are the available upgrades for each model general or specific for that model? If specific will there be more options for a given model than they can take? i.e. master has 3 upgrade slots will he/she have more than 3 options to upgrade with. If general, how are they going to make each master unique? Plus add my concerns that simplification may result in generic characters not the rich ones we have now..?

Feasted left right and centre on all the lovely 8 legged goodness aRamos could send his way, Large, small it all died.. providing aRamos with a tonne of scrap counters and Yan Lo a tonne of Chi.. the game was shaping up nicely :-) Shame we couldn't finish it. He also took down a Rail Golem in one activation thanks to a string of 11, 12 & 13 cards flipped like I've not seen before..

I was aware that effects end in closing phase but it was the wording that gave me pause, the fact that the targets 'gain the Spirit characteristic' just seemed more permanent than it being a temporary effect.

Simple question really, do models affected by Yan Lo's Transcend the Physical spell remain Spirits or are they only spirits until the closing phase of the turn in which the spell was cast?

Seems to me this will not be another Malifaux pod cast in the same ilk as the others, but one that uses the Malifaux themes and goes in it's own direction. Whilst I'll admit there are beginning to be more Malifaux podcasts than I've time to listen to that's no reason not to support new ones, especially short ones. I'll be giving it a listen as soon as I'm able. I'd certainly prefer too many to too few. -
Got mine done without loosing or breaking anything in the end. Using plastic glue really helps as it melts the plastic and fuses it back together as it dries. It gives you wiggle time to position beards correctly and gives a much stronger bond than super glue.

Have sat looking in fear at my Yan Lo box set, knowing I'm going to need some good time to put it together. With the metals I would quite happily pick something up and work on it for 5 minutes, here I know I'm going to need hour long slots I think. That goatee is so tiny and those spears look so fragile!

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, but Chiaki needs living models in order to regain Harmless. So Mortal Touch and (0)Fade become useful if you want her harmless again.

Clousseau - thanks for a top event. To all my opponents - thanks for you patients. Had a great time. Exhausted now. Surprisingly hard work standing up for that long - or am I just being a wimp? ;-) Lots of fun & lots learnt. Hope I can make the next one..

I'm booked in, make me bold! Looks like I'll be bringing Lady Justice, though a couple of evenings base coating might see me bringing Perdita, I'll let relevant peeps know if I do change.. I'd better have a read of the rules, it's been sooo long, hope me and my friend (who should also be coming) can get a practice game in..

Well.. I could run Perdita with bit of base coating between now and then, I'd need cards for Judge and Santiago, I think my cards for Perdi, Nino and Francisco are all OK. And alternative available for me is that I get glueing and undercoating and turn up with Rasputina, my cards required for her are all OK it seems. Can I enter on the day if I get my crew together on time?

Sadly it looks like I won't be able to take part. As my hobby time is scarce to say the least I've never bothered to upgrade my cards and it seems I can't put together a single crew without needing new cards for at least one of the models :-(

Hmm.. yeah I know, but, my paints are at the bottom of a shed it took me 2 hours to find my Malifaux models in, I have no money to buy new paint and I need glue in order to glue them together. Also I have 2 kids, aged 2.25 years and 12 weeks they tend to be time consuming ;-) I will make every effort but can't make promises.

Looks like the must be undercoated rule means the only crew I could take would be LJ, with my embarrassingly badly painted Death Marshall.. :-( Wanted to take Perdita but as half her crew isn't even glued together yet & I don't know where my paints are she's no longer an option. ---------- Post added at 12:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:41 PM ---------- Oh.. How do I tell if my stat cards are up to date? My LJ crew are all pretty old so my cards may not be valid.
