  4. Well with the help of the LED lighting, should be able to play with normal lighting. But, like you said, if it works only in the dark, there will be sacrifices. I see what you mean on that, but I need to draw a rough sketch to see how it would fit in all together, plus a schematic diagram of the wiring. The point is not to make big and bulky, but small and lightweight.
  5. To start things off, I like just to have feed back on this a little. So do me a favor a help a fellow henchman and malifaux palyer. Well, My first idea (which I think I posted this before) Is making a Peacebringer, YES a working Peacebringer (with approval). To clarify now, it would be shooting cuddle Darts. but I would take a normal cuddle gun, and turn it into A PEACEBRINGER!!! HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE?? Actually, my hobby is moding cuddle gun with prop making. So why not both, right? Process: Take a cuddle Maverick, remove original barrel and make a single barrel mod to to still fire. Competely[ish] to incase the body of the to shape the Peacebringer. Adding a blade to the bottom of the handle a fixed blade with mods in the gun. Also, let's not forget about the paint as well. Well we know how the Ortega's have theirs!! Second Idea!!! A portable light up scoreboard[ish]. I just came up with this recently, so bare with me. I've seen the Magic: The Gathering Timer at the store's before, so why not something similar for Malifaux. What would it have on the Score Board? Good Question! I would figure for the two players on a board for a tournament or casual games. FIRST, turns. Primary Turns for the Encounter! Possibly a section for VPs? the number of models left in the enconter? A faction section (WHICH I DO NOT KNOW HOW THAT WOULD WORK)? timer, no need, right? I feel like there could a lot to this...but now I'm blanking out. Process: Cut up wood for the base and body. LED with Lens on a some battery source. Put it all together and YOU GOT A MALIFAUX SCOREBOARDish.......with some switches included. So these are my ideas. I hope they work. P.S. Battery not included.

Hey Nix, Just Want to say I enjoyed myself at the tournament. I hope everything at the end went smoothly for yeah. Also Just keep most posted on anything about new for NOVA Open! libiss

  7. Well if you want to run a larger game, just PM me and be glad to help you out. As for casual games. I sometimes play with my friends as in a 3 ways battle. And this how we set it up. (following from the Rules Manual: Setting up the Encounter) 1. Encounter size, We usually keep to the norm of 25ss. So we don't have large armies on the board. (tho is would be interesting) 2. Choose a Factin: No worries : 3. Location: Again No worries : 4. deployment type. Now we got a problem, usually we divide the deployment zone even in a triangle shape. 5. Strategy/ies: We would either do all core, or shared strategy. But we also modified the VP in the games to balance the encounter. 6. Hiring: Not a problem :bigthumb: 7. Scheme: We would also modified the VP again. 8. Deploy, no problems again. This would usually work just with three people playing. But a game store you are better off running one on ones encounters, cause the game is base on that. (Only if you have enough terrain and space to play, then we can understand.) With teams like 2vs.2, usually just work out with players and divide everything evenly. So that is my take on this. Hope it helps you naiatoc
  8. I usually not a good painter for miniatures and usually never enter a painting contest. But I came up with a cool idea with the Trapper. So once I get him painted up, I'm going to add this thick flock to it, that each piece is the perfect scale for malifaux. Adding to each side of him making him "hidden" only with the barrel sticking out. hope you guys enjoy, while I get more pics up.
  9. Well Nix, I'm double confirming on making it out there. Just hoping some extra players who are not playing in the tournament will be looking for casuals encounters. See ya Saturday!
  10. Hey Nix, I am confirming on coming up, but remember only for a visist (due to work). Plus I need to return a Hollow Waif to a certain someone *cough cough* DarcXON *cough cough* libiss
  11. All you need is good terrain setup, small lights, and a little bit of fog. It would be interesting to set somthing like this for malifaux. For playing cuddle, my friends and I use expenisve LED lights and fog to play cuddle in. Which can be very interesting. So maybe if I get around, I could set up a night setting in "Downtown" location for malifaux, but who knows....
  12. That what I thought at first, but the Online Store looks Blue. There must be a hidden Neverborn somewhere!
  13. So I just thought of something today. I was looking at the new Rules Manual. Well I have the books and notice the different colors corresponding to the colors of factions in the game. This is what we have from Wyrd: First book: Red (Guild) Second Book: Blue (Arcanist) Rule Manual: Green (Resurrectionist) Now this should make you wonder. What is the next color that Wyrd is going to use? What is going to happen if there more then five books? Since there are five colors. Maybe the world will never know!
  14. Hey guys, I'm going to cut the Dead Line the 6th of March. Two days longer to fill up the slots.
  15. I got you down on the list. Now I have the minimum number of contestants to keep the tournament going! Also I am now half filled, so hurry up!
  16. Prizes have been finally decided. 1st prize: Either up to $15 of a model of their choice (at store) or (not for sure) New Rule Manual. 2nd prize: A Fate Deck of their choice (at store) 3rd prize: Refund of the tournament. Also note: No Painting contest, sorry! and that is 3 down, I need at least 2 more people to join the tournament before calling off the tournament.
  17. I agree with a group or even a league for sure. Not really in a tournament.
  18. What about people who only have one crew only? Because usually in a tournament, the contestants must supply their only crews and equipment (other then terrain).
  19. I do to, but I think about 6 or so people are going to show up.
  20. Hey Guys, I'm running a Tournament now, this should be interesting. 21. I don't see a lot of terrain pictures as much on the forums. So I decided to takes pics of my terrain that I have worked on. Note before Pictures. 1. A lot of pieces are used over and over on the locations. 2. The Arcanist models are not mine. They are my friends. go here for pictures. http://s1117.photobucket.com/albums/k593/henchman-libiss/ Tell me what you think about it?
  22. HEY NOW, we are getting somewhere. Now marking calender for the 26th!
  23. Also a note on the malifaux bag, the top tray has the smaller slots for models. But sadly, it doesn't hold many since models are bigger then the norm,. With the beautiful part about it, you can buy a another second layer tray to fit it, a hybrid foam(ish), or custom one if desire.
  24. Go to battlefoam website and get the Malifaux Bag to carry the models, or a bigger bag. Many different option there for sure. Note that its cost a little. There's one answer for ya!
  25. One was for Francois Lacroix as Client Eastwood another was Blah for Leveticus cause my friend and i had a terrible day on pronouncing his name.
