I like the Bete pose personally, just tried her out for the first time a few days ago and she ruined lives too. +1 for Bete

I also started with McMourning, and I would say that it is advisable to get additional models. I love McM...but he needs some canine remains to help him out. They are low soulstone models that are handy for their speed, corpse counter transfer and in a pinch being corpses themselves! I bought 2 sets of them (4 dogs total) and they have been great. Rotten Belles are also good to have to lure things closer for McM to cut up. The Zombie Chihuahua is awesome as well (his totem) as it can provide free body parts for monstrous creations and other various uses. What you want to add is all based on playstyle and preference of course, the only thing I'd honestly suggest no matter what would be the canine remains and the chihuahua.

Seb wouldn't be bad, but he uses Body Parts like McM... while using Morty yields corpse counters that Nico can use to a great extent via Exhume and a Crow.

Jack Daw is indeed at cost, as he is "Undead". JD is also awesome, just make sure you keep some control cards handy!!

Indeed, the only way around this is to sac a Seishin with their ability to have nearby Kirai/Seishin ignore blast/pulse/aura but it takes a little premonition...

Nice write-up Pigi, informative read and a good insight on Kirai. I often find myself summoning Onryo over Gaki via evolve spirit because I think I may as well go all the way when saccing a seishin and getting an 11 to cast. I have yet to get the Gaki into melee and trigger Feeding Frenzy though, its such a brutal thing.... Datsue-Ba is such a good deal for 7ss its unbelievable, totally worth it even just for an 8wd Spirit nevermind one that is a beast in combat, can effectively summon, mess with movement, push to a model AND heal

I've been starting with 2-3 myself, depending on game size. I would definitely recommend just getting all 5.

Indeed, when summoned it wouldn't have a prey. It could use the (All) action that gives it a new prey though... Definitely can't wait for these to come out!

The Ca stat includes the tome, so Alyce would indeed get the built in tome

Its not the end of the world to proxy stuff, just going to be tough to keep referencing the book in a timed tourney. I'd love to proxy some new stuff but I'm just thinking time constraints.

Usually can't proxy things until they are released to the public. That being said, I'm certainly coming to this. Not gonna fail this one like the last tourney haha

I have to wait about 8 more hours to even see the book and the anticipation is killing me :sad2: I was hoping Ikiryo would be speedy but with the "Don't Blink" trigger it seems like that could be very broken. The trigger also seems like the most efficient way to deliver a killing machine to its target. 12" is a massive summoning area!!!

That, and the decks are pure awesome. Nothing like flipping a card and seeing that accursed bleeding voodoo doll....the image is permanently engraved in my mind as "epic fail". Bad stuff happens.

Oh so nasty. It always rounds up though so it would be 5 WD and not 4. I can't wait to finally get to read the book today...so stoked to see how awesome the Ikiryo is...(or how awesome I hope it is)
