Having decided that I have spent enough time as a technophobe I have recently gadgeted up including now owning my very first Internet enabled computer. :thsigns05 I will be trying to link up with my work computers etc and one other thing I know people do on the net is download some television shows. Is this legal? What is a good site if so? Anyway, now I have regular access to the internet I am somewhat flummoxed as what to do with it other than hang around here so I ask what do you regularly use the internet for excluding :parental:. I also PM'd about some items got to the same stage and then nothing. That was right back at the start. Sent a seperate PM last week and have heard nothing, had forgotten about that till now.

A fate deck (although a standard deck of cards would do in a pinch), a measuring tape and the rules manual. If you don't have the manual there are some quick start rules free to download on the left hand side of the main forum page which should get you through your first games.

Just to make you think it's all just an elaborate ploy and it's only me sitting in the corner playing toy soldiers I'll be first to say hello. As for local players, they will no doubt be along soon. Keep your eyes out for Angor who is a Henchman in the bristol area IIRC and will be able to point you in the right direction. There is also a find an opponent thread stickied in the main Malifaux matters section that would be worth a look.

Welcome to the game and the forums. Lilith is a great choice for a first crew. Hope you manage to bring in some new players, although I tend to find the miniatures do a pretty good job of that themselves.

Cryx and legion tend to mess with the enemies plans. NOt sure they fit the formless ideal but they tend to have a lot more stealth etc and can ignore a fair number of rules which can result in the opponents conventional plans needing to be reconsidered.

Yes, in truth synergies are there for every faction so choice of playstyle still needs to be considered outside of that almost. although I would still say menoth
