  1. My guess would be that his wife will soon be asking him what happened to that painting from the dining room wall....
  2. Gotta love such kits, with all them bits (Holy crap! Did I just rap?) :tomato:
  3. I like the results of your first-ever water experiment! Nice and murky, good coloring. And of course, the hooch-hut is priceless...
  4. I agree with seamoose; some Dickens-esque thievin' orphans would be sweet, but of course they'd be wyrded out a bit to be an even better fit for the game.
  5. Hmmm.....that could cause an interesting issue when people start selling used pieces on eBay.
  6. Thanks for sharing the progress of your project; can't wait to see how the water turned out.
  7. Really nice work; snow effects are not easy but you pulled it off!
  8. Wow, nice boards! I have always found that skirmish gaming lends itself to more creative terrain and scenery. It's nice to only need a small number of miniatures in order to play, as it really allows one to spend less time painting and more time making terrain and playing.
  9. Looking good so far....and what a great use for an old unneeded die!
  10. These are fantastic! The terrain possibilities are one of the reasons I am getting into this game. Thanks for sharing!
  11. Yes, great work; I too am fond of the piglet bases!
  12. I thought it was decent, but then again I didn't pay anything to see it as I was given some movie passes last Christmas. If you had to spend money on it, I would rate it as a rental.
  13. I've ordered a couple of times from Miniature Market, and the first time I felt the same as you. It took MUCH longer than I expected, but still only a week (I guess my excitement made it seem longer). However, I did order a large batch so there was no shipping charge thus I ignored the issue. I don't believe they actually ship as quick as they claim. My second order with them was about the same speed. OTOH, everything was in perfect shape and well packed. I wouldn't worry much, they have a good rep on all the forums I've read.
