I love the Silurid, I'm eventually going to get a Zoraida starter, love her minions. Good to know about Marcus, I don't think anyone at my LGS has him, I think he's the only one that no one has gotten yet. If that is the case, I might pick him up eventually, but will get Rasputina first. I'd like to have all the Arcanists, think they are my main faction, with Resurrectionists as my second, I have Nicodem and he's awesome! I'm not big on McMourning or Seasmus, I dig them but not enough to get them. Who else would work well with Ramos? What non-faction minions do you think he could/should use? I can't think of any constructs off the top of my head.

I can see that. Yeah, Gene Simmons wasthe bad guy I believe in Runaway. I haven't seen it in a few years, I remember the construction sight with all the spiders crawling around, and one of the heat seeking smart bullets going through some pipes. I need to re-watch that. What are some other characters that remind you of other actors?

The Steam Arachnids remind me a little bit of the movie Runaway with Tom Selleck, about the type-writer like spiders with poison tipped needles for mouths, and the smart bullets.

I think starter vs. starter is a great way to learn the game, just me though! At my LGS we are still using our starters, we are just breaking into designing new crews. The only hold is the models, they are sold out everywhere so it can be hard to get them at times!

There are about 15 players I believe up at the shop, and growing. Every miniature gamer is getting into this game, so if ayone is reading this and hasn't been to Little Shop Of Magic, come on up and play! I'm scheduling some games for this week in the afternoon, have to show a few folks and bring the might of Ramos out! Las Vegans, come on up and play at LSOM (Little Shop Of Magic)!

At my LGS we are dicussing avatars, trying to figure if it's a Pandora only bump or if at least one from every faction will have an avatar form. I know it's early, but are seperate faction books a possibility? Collect everything from past book(s) and put them into one volume. Or are expansions going to have a little for everyone in them? I'm a huge Warmachine/Hordes player, I absolutely love the game, but I dislike how they do expansions. They bring a very big book out with only a few entries for each army. I would prefer if they "saved them up" for one, good sized expansion. Now they are going to go with army books after the rulebook, and I can't decide if I like that or not. That's what GW does, and it works for them but dunno about WM/H. What I'm getting at is I hope the expansions are real EXPANSIONS. Not just one extra rule and a couple of models and errata, but a slew of new stuff. I hope the new book(s) has plenty of new models for each faction, and there are new scenarios, new rules to certain things (like a new type of terrain for example) and not half the book dedicated to FAQs and errata. Just my thoughts, doesn't matter because I am buying and will continue to buy anything Wyrd comes out with, just mentioning what bothers me with other games. I'm sure you guys have a great plan, and I dig how you guys are keeping a lid on it. Showing us the Pandora avatar and not saying anything about it gets ups curious and inquisitive, where we can't wait to see what she's about. Thank you for making a truly amazing game! People are in a frenzy about it at my LGS, the owner can't keep anything on the shelves, people are buying up everything as quickly as possible. It's awesome to see us get so excited about a game, has been forever since we've been this excited about something. Thank you very much for a great game, I love it!

So basically have a lot :hahaha: I kinda figured, but wanted to check with you guys. I have plasticard ones I've made, only a few, looks like I should make a whole bunch more while I wait to collect the bases and the inserts. Thanks for the info!

I'm all about the vultures. I'm one of those guys that likes to use what was designed for them, I'm a very big fluff fan and try to stick to it as much as possible. For example I'm only going to field vultures with Nicodem and the Brass Arachnid with Ramos, won't use any other totems. Just me though. Is the vulture due out soon?

For those of you who play Ramos, what's the average amount of scrap counters needed for a game, and how many Steam Arachnids are made in a game? I'm trying to figure out how many bases I'm going to need and how many blisters of Steam Arachnids I'm going to get. I know it can vary greatly depending on scenario and the opponent, I'd like to roughly know how many I should make/buy.

Just for now I cut some 30, 40 and 50mm circles out of some plasticard. I think I need to make s'more 30mm bases because I play Ramos and Nicodem, and they make minions like no one else! Plus need all those counters. Are most of you guys using bases for counters? Or have you found something else that is roughly the same size and diameter? Eventually I'm going to order a few (meaning a lot) bases and the scenic inserts for the counters; graveyard for Nicodem and sewer for Ramos. Also use the inserts on the models themselves. I'm going to make my own scenic inserts for the counters too.

So Marcus is fast, what is Ramos and Rasputina?

That sounds cool! I am planning on getting Rasputina's starter, so that mix and match crew sounds really cool. Seems like Ramos and Rasputina are the favored for Arcanists, what about Marcus? I'm on the fence about him.

Looks like I am playing tomorrow, so I'll figure it out, see what all I can and should do, gonna study up tonight. Playing against Lilith, I know her crew is way fast.
