  1. Hmmm... of all the things I've lost, I miss my miss the most
  2. Ron Purvis here aka Bubba Ho-Tep on most of the forums I frequent. I see alot of familiar names here Supervike and quite a few others that I know from other forums. Let's see, I am 44 years old, married, 2 boys & another on the way (I think I am seriuosly crazy for doing this again). I am a huge mini addict and have been so since about the age of 10, when I started painting my army men because solid green was boring. I play a bunch of minis games Warmachine, Hordes, Classic Battletech, Wargods, Anima Tactics, Babylon 5 ACTA, Starship Troopers, Victory at Sea, Battlefield Evolution, AE WWII, Pulp City, Spinespur, Infinity, Urban War & Warhammer Fantasy. I paint alot, though I think I'm an ok painter, my friends think I am pretty good, meh. I paint to suit myself and if I am happy with it, I move on. I have waaaay to many minis to paint and I think if I ever got them all painted I would spontaneously combust. I tried Malifaux at Gen Con this year and fell in love with it, though I have admired the minis since I first saw them. I am one of the founders of the Kentucky Fried Gamers, a group that started by running free games the Wed. before Gen Con 4 years ago. We have grown huge since then and run games all over and at other cons now (when the bosses let us). I would love to see some Malifaux at KFG Gaming this year, even if I have to run it myself. Any who, I am here now and since I had made a few posts I figured I had better introduce myself. See Y'all around, Bubba
  3. I have it now and it has a ton of options. He has also said that all the expansions building for it will include interiors, such as a big saloon. I can't wait.

  5. I like the Witch and the Doc Savage pulp hero figs.
  6. Pulp City is an awesome game!! I have a bunch of the figs and am playing alot lot more of it now.
  7. I love the game. I have about 25 figs and they are absolutely beautiful minis. I really wish I had more of them.
  8. My name is Ron Purvis also known as Bubba Ho-Tep on most of the forums I frequent. Did a demo of Malifaux at Gen Con this year and loved it, so here I am. I have been playing minis & RPG games for going on 33 years and have no plans of slowing down yet. I am also the co-founder of the Kentucky Fried Gamers, a group that runs free games all day on the Wed. before Gen Con as well as games at our LFGS throughout the year. Later, Bubba
  9. Thanks. I just brushed on the water effects on the sides and then gave it a brush coat of gloss after I clearcoated the minis. The Ice on the Golem is made from clear resin poured into a Hirst Arts cavern mold.
  10. Here's my ice golem with the rest of the Cult.
  11. Here are some pics of mine I am very please with the way they turned out.
