is Ramos standing on a Devilfish hatch? if so, the tau player in me is wincing! seriously though, the basing and theme here is outstanding. It almost makes me want to acquire a Ramos crew...almost.

I would probably lean towards Unisystem, since it's simple. You can do firearms, melee, spells, armor, creatures, robots, etc. It's pretty malleable.

Eh, i'm sure it's easy, i just don't care for skype, or any kind of gaming done by voice-over-internet. I prefer a text based game over the web. Agreed on 4e, it's not horrible, it's just too.....homogenized for my tastes.

I don't really do skype, but i would be down for some Pathfinder through an alternate means, like IRC or OpenRPG perhaps? I have 4E DnD but i am not really a huge fan of it. But I would give it a whirl all the same...maybe it's not the system, maybe i just need a change of venue...new miscreants to play with as it were?

IIRC, Cortex is just Serenity/Firefly. Angel and Buffy run on Unisystem (Cinematic Unisystem actually), being a simplified, fluffier version of the Unisystem that powers Witchcraft and All Flesh Must Be Eaten.

Yeah, i think that would irritate me...it just seems lazy.

I echo this sentiment. I love my Tau army, but right now malifaux seems to be more in-line with the type of game i want to play.
