Anyone have ideas on what they think they would like to run as a crew?

I am very interested in the new models, but no idea of what to purchase. I have been out of the loop for a wee bit. I am thinking of just picking up the gen con release models and that is it. Thoughts???

Wyrd...... You guys suck something awful....(yea sarcasm) The new 2010 catalog look beautiful, and now I want to collect everything that you sell.... Also I got my Lord Chompy Bits in the mail today....If I am jumped by a gang I can stick Lord Chompy Bits in a sock and beat them to death.... The new rulebook....it looks so good. I started flipping thru it and I started drooling on the pages over the models and the rules. I now must cover the book in plastic so I can read it. The puppet deck....well I kept it sealed so I didn't scream out loud like a 4 year old girl at work. Whatever your business model is, laminated it, hang it on the wall and treat it like scripture. Rock on.....

I go tmy package this morning...I didn't open the box but OMG this thing is HEAVY.....

My LCB, book and card are supposed to be here in the building from Fed Ex. Fex Ex tracking shows a delivery time of 11:13. But no package. Fed Ex show a signature, and there is no one by that name in the building. /sigh So now I need to wait it out a bit to see if the dam package turns up or not. few Ex has two delivery times for my building, so I am hoping that it is just Fed Ex Shenanigans with their tracking software and that my package didn't get miss placed. One I get my LCB, then I can decide if I want to flip it LOL...I saw one go for $255..... /gasp

Ok now I am broke... Thru the online store I picked up the Limited LCB, New Book and Cards.... Long Love Malifaux.

I went to Gen Con last year...Everyone gets a swag bag when they register, If you ask around people will sometimes give them because they don't want them. So the gen Con dice with the 2010 stamp on it comes in the Swag Bag. Then you purchase the rest of the dice set from the Crystal caste booth. They usually have the 2010 dice. you just have to ask around... Like I dais I will pay for the dice. Thanks, Doug.

Can someone PLEASE help me out here. I would like a set of the 2010 Gen Con dice.... The one with the date that comes in the swag bag and the tin of the RPG dice for this year... Good luck with the Landscape work, you are in the right state for nursery Growers. Seasonal work can restrict the gaming budget....

I think you would get more mileage out of buying the book first before the models and reading thru it. Read thru the faction sections to get an idea of the different styles of play. After that buy one box set and get some games under your belt with just the box set of the faction that you like, and then build up from there. When I started I read thru the site, soaked up the information and then chose Neverborn for my first crew. I got the Lilith box set and the rules. The game plays excellent out of the starters.

I have the Rulebook. I would buy a stripped down, no fluff PDF of the game off the website. Then I would just print it out on my own.

If you could post a few picks on the how to for bases, I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking at resin bases now and I can't justify the expense for them.
