The demons I have were a bit awkward to put together, ESPECIALLY the crazy demon of flesh (Ball of teeth and arms) but very well cast, I like this new batch and I'll have to pick up that dinasaur dude and the demon.

Wow. Nice stuff. Love the puppet master and aligator Al guy. I've got a lot of these models laying aorund waiting for paint. Too beatiful!

Yeah I already picked up a couple packs of Silurid's. Hadn't thought of putting them two together. Good idear!

I ordered all the bayou gremlins and the pigs. Just couldn't resist! Nice paint you put on them DemonHerald. Can't wait to get them.

On top of that Chris/GenerulPoleaxe is one of the finest people I know on the net. He's wonderful, and I hope he makes a gazillion dollars. I ordered the Orc.

There wasa super cool preview of Han Solo in the Cantina lounging at the table where he shot greedo thumbing his blaster. This range is sweet!

Added to the to-do list 1) Hug SuperVike 2) Kill Ritual Man, this list is getting BIG!

I've got the 5 Marvel figs released so far. The fit on the first two Iron Man and Punisher is amazing and they're fantastic. Wave two of Wolverine, Hulk, and Thor a little less so. The fit on the Hulk is down right dissapointing actually. Still AMAZING quality of models when you have them in the hand. Thor is over the top good! Can't wait for these guys. Cap A is my favorite. Though over on Cool Mini there was a tad of Cap bashing. What's with people? Cap A helped beat the Nazi'a guys! Let's show him some love. If you don't buy the Cap A model I think it's a tacit endorsement for the Red Skull and his neo-nazi regime actually.

So I called it finished on this guy. Went for more shading on the metal, liked it better, but couldn't figure out a way to change the pants. It was a good point though! Here he is.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'll go back and work the metal lower in the recesses. Good ole Badab Black! I paint the ring on all my bases a dark brown. And I mean dark, like fall of Berlin '45 style dark with some VMS SS-Cam Black Brown! The color so dark, Himmler called it his "very favorite brown, a true indicator of my life and times." Thanks again. And yes, I TOTALLY ripped off Pete's avatar for the hat idea.

I was thinking, with the exception of one NOT winning Iron Painter entry I have never posted a mini here. I thought I'd put this one up and open it up to the shooting gallery. I would normally call this one done, but I am happy to take on board any hints and tips or crits given. I welcome all crits, and no matter how fiddly or harsh sounding you're doing me a favor by pointing stuff out. Please and thank you. Now I would just paint up the base ring and add a silfor tuft before coating this puppy with dullcote, anything else I should consider? Thanks for looking hombres!

After I posted this one of the good people on WAMP pointed me to Historex. Should work out to less then it would've been from pegaso, pending the shipping. Unless they HAMMER me with shipping should be about 15USD less then direct from pegaso, who I couldn't order from without a Spanish Banco certified credit card, and the instruction page was all in Spanish. 30 euro for shipping they were after too! It's a good point about asking one of the companies to bring it in for me, but I am very wary of online transactions that involve a company I haven't dealt with. Burned a few times! But it's still a good point. Thanks for the response!

Hey, does anyone know of a North American ditributor of the Pegaso Fantasy stuff? Lots of listing but only of the historical and naked chick ranges, none of them have the two models I want. I even tried to by direct from pegaso and even tried to pay the THIRTY EURO shipping but they needed me to have a Spanish verified credit card payment option. Que? So anyone who is in the know, please help!

That is indeed scary. I'm just glad that it's a case of something bad ALMOST happened. I am also glad for you that you didn't find the guy, as your life would become very much more complicated. As parents we all worry about things like this. The good news, whatever you've done to raise your daughter you've done well as she was able to identify and get out of the situation in one piece. Good luck with the police and hopefully getting the guy.

It's pretty awesome, love the work on the armor and the color choice for the uniform is a nice break frolm the usual grey that most (including me!) tend to use on those models. Hard for a guy of my level to crit a demon winning model, but a while back I painted one of these and I got an applicable crit which was that I should have varied the color on the hooves (or whatever these crazy drugged horse's actually have for feet) from the coloration of the base a little more. Kind of seperated the model from the base a little. But it's a an awesome model that's far outside my current skills, so take it as you like it. I also like DH's suggestion of using crazy color tones on the drugged out horse. In fact, I'm gonna rip off a little bit of his shading choices from the big Cold One rider he did (Varathar, the Dark Guardian?) as I think it's a great idear!

So long as we agree that HPL sucks, then everything is fine. I like the Alien Demon guy because he reminds me more of a comic book bad guy then any kind of Horror creature.

Y'know I love it Anders, but I still gotta wonder about the boots. I just want to know what happens in a Girls head when she goes a'summonin'. I mean, The boots are kick ass and I am sure you could do a forced march from Berlin to Poland in them, I just don't know if that's neccessary given the rest of the outfit. Does she need the support and comfort of the boots? Is it for ankle stability that she chose those boots? I just need to know the reason the sculptor went for those boots! It's killin' me!
